I am not necessarily fond of this location , I find at this location that the staff always seems to be dry and almost as if at times like you are a bother to them, ive tried to give this location a chance several times because of the drive through access but yet I encounter the same thing every time, I get the same smoothie every time and I find there is no consistency on how the smoothie is made , sometimes theres to much ice , sometimes its to thick, sometimes its not sweet , sometimes its to sweet etc. Ive also found at times there has been times when there seems to be certain ingredients missing from my smoothie as well, when i first started ordering the Chia blueberry smoothie I never had to request sugar then I began to find that when getting my smoothie sometimes it would be sweet sometimes it wouldnt .Only upon asking why is it that when I get my smoothie sometimes it is sweet sometimes it isnt I was told because I have to request to add sugar, I advised the staff that as long as I have been getting this smoothie Ive never had to make this request their only answer was to basically tell me that it does not come with sugar and whomever is making it at the times when I get it and it is already sweet is making it wrong(in which makes my point of there is never any consistency ) I feel like at this location when I get a smoothie and it is right I need to find out who made it and request that same person to make my smoothie every time. Though it is a little further down the road I actually prefer to drive down the road to the Michigan ave location , My smoothies are always the same and right at the Michigan ave location as well as the staff seems to have a bit more glow about them , the Telegraph location to me the staff/environment is a bit dry and I never know if my smoothie will be right and how it will taste.

Been here several times since it has opened. Food and drinks are usually good aside from the terrible & slow service. The last time I came in (July 1st, 2017 around 4pm) was the worst Tropical Smoothie experience I have ever had. I shouldve walked out when I seen how filthy the store was (trash overflowed and behind the counter was trashed) but it was busy and I understand how hectic it gets during peak times. I counted roughly 12 workers behind the counter, half of them were in the very back fooling around & laughing while the other half were busting their butts, great teamwork. I got my Beach Bum smoothie and it was pretty much ice with smoothie all over the outside of the cup as well, so I gave it back and the cashier told me she agreed it was made wrong and would have it re-made. During this time I watched the gentlemen who made my first smoothie, he was moving so fast trying to keep up that he wasnt even properly measuring the ingredients for the smoothies, he was just tossing it in as fast as possible. I waited and waited and waited until finally bringing it to another employees attention. After 60+ minutes of being in the store, I finally walked out with my new drink. I was pretty excited to have a TS closer to home but, I think ill stick to the Ann Arbor locations as theyre much more prompt and professional than this location. Especially considering not ONE person apologized.

Normally great, with relatively few to no issues. I did, however, wait well over an hour one day for my smoothie and food. It was definitely busy, but still having to wait OVER AN HOUR was completely unacceptable. Thankfully, I was compensated with 4 free smoothie cards, but one of the crappy employees had the audacity to ask if the manager was seriously going to give me that many free smoothies. Now, Im not one to make a scene, but that completely pissed me off and just set me loose. Again, usually my friends and I have absolutely no issues, but that one time did indeed leave a sour taste in my mouth, even after the delicious smoothie.

I love this place, but the staff seem to have other priorities or there than serving their customers. Granted I was here at a busy hour I noticed two employees Nate and Katie or kaylee red hair thick framed glasses theyre interests were not on customers rather than their friends kind of annoying. If there was a manager available to keep them on task Im sure this place with its staff would definitely get a 5 star rating from me but due to the fact they employees were hanging out with friends rather than tending to their employees gives this place a 2 star rating in my book

Sitting at drive through when lady come and open leave me at drive through and wait on customer that came after me n went inside the guy that came in said he was sorry the system was down while putting on a headset for drive through. I felt the lady should have said something and did not and when I pull up to the window and she act like she has an attitude when I ask whats going on. Bad example of customer service and if the guy had not come how long would she have left me there and why didnt they post that speaker was not working.

Customer service is horrible. Tried this place out. Smoothies are amazing! Food is way to Boojie for me, personally. I waited 45 minutes for a smoothie. Not worth it. You can stand in line at Kroger buy a blender and fruit and a vitamin. Pour into new blender and make the same thing for half thr price and half the time! Would not recommend this location. When i asked what was taking so long i was told to just wait ny turn. It will be ready soon. Store needs better management, organization and time management skills.

UPDATE: I have modified my previous 1 star review to now be a 5 star review! I have visited this establishment on three separate occasions over the last several weeks and each time, the service has been progressively more expeditious, professional and friendly. It appears to be under new management - perhaps someone important read my comment! The black gentleman working the evening of 6/4/17 was very friendly and seemed to be doing a great job of managing his staff. Very pleased, and I will be returning!

Great place with awesome food and drinks but the service is absolutely terrible. Majority of the staff are either preoccupied with gossip or being glued to their phones and not doing their jobs. The attitudes are just as bad, giving you the feeling youre a burden. If Im that much of a burden and you dont like your job then you know where the door is. This place needs better management to offset the poor training and service thats demonstrated here.

Ive tried and tried and tried again to give this location a chance but they are way too slow. I understand getting busy but I have waited in drive thru for 10-20 minutes regularly since this location opened up. One time I was offered a free smoothie coupon because of how ridiculous the wait was but Id much rather pay for it and have faster service. Heres a tip to the owner...faster service means more money.
