Ive had one of the worst experiences Ive ever had at any restaurant at this Sonic. To begin with, the service was pretty slow. It was busy, and I understand having a wait, but it was nearly 40 minutes of sitting in the drive in, and about 30 minutes after the machine told me "Your order is being delivered." I ordered a Large Popcorn Chicken meal that costed 8 dollars. The chicken was fine, but my "large" fries were cold, soggy, and came in a tiny box. Their may have been just over a handful of fries in my LARGE order of fries. I could get 3 times as many fries at any place for the same price, and they would taste better too. My large Coke was over 3/4 filled with nothing but ice. Nearly every place overfills the cup with ice, but this was ridiculous. It was nowhere near 8 dollars, or 40 minutes of waiting. Absolute crap. P.S. My girlfriend ordered a Coconut Cream Pie shake, and received chocolate.

We have had this Sonic on our regular rotation since it opened and the last year or so has been a disappointment overall. It seems like the burgers have gone from one of the best to tasteless. My last load of tots were fried in oil that made them taste so bad the oil probably came from the Post Office vehicle repair building across Eleven Mile Rd. The shakes, etc are still excellent and last summer we availed ourselves numerous times of the after 8P happy hour. The service (courtesy, order accuracy, etc) has been all over the place. Our little joke to ourselves is to say "should we spin the Sonic wheel and see what happens?". But all in all we are going to stop eating the food here and limit ourselves to the shakes and ice cream stuff.

Sonic is one of the fast food places that I trust. They put their ingredients online. There is no MSG or genetically modified organisms in their food. Most of their products are all natural and or organic. That does not include the ketchup in barbecue packages or the candy that they put in their drinks. Those items may contain high-fructose corn syrup and or soybean also the drinks may contain fluoride as well. But overall their meats and breads are known to be all natural with no GMOs in them. Much more healthier than McDonalds and rallies and other places that they put in the major cities and or next to lower-income communities.

I visit this location often and always receive decent service. Its slow service but my order is always accurate and people are moderately friendly. My visit last night was so disappointing. I went thru the car hop for the first time. As I was placing my order the girl on the speaker was extremely rude. I dont know if she was having a bad night but she should not be in customer service. Every time I went to order an item she would sarcastically say "what" and sigh. Im annoyed that there are people at establishments who act like youre bothering them to do their jobs. To say the very least I will never visit this location again.

I went there at about 1045 on this past Friday. I ordered my food about 1052. At 11, my food arrived. The carhop said the card machine didnt work, and he had to swipe it inside. It was swiped at 1106 (thanks to my bank text) and by 1115 I didnt have my card. I buzzed inside and told someone, but by 1120 ....nothing. I took all the food back to the window, asked for a refund, and waited. I then watched as 3 ppl LOOKED for my card. After 15 more min they found it..... Im not going back due to the fact this was the second time this same carhop did this. Somethings fishy. Ill just go to Madison Heights from now on.

Gone there twice now the first time was fine seem to come very quickly and didnt seem to have any issues went there two days later and got the exact same order it took double the amount of time or Slurpees were basically liquid causing it to have basically nerds without the coating on it which didnt taste very well. Food was good just kind of dry on the chicken. Like it had been sitting other parts though that were larger seemed just cooked. Mostly just would recommend consistency even if youre slightly busier. Which they were not. Thank you.

If I could give zero stars or a negative rating, I would. Went to sonic a little after midnight, was given awful attitude and service by the girl in the walk-up window. One of only a handful of people there at the time, took over thirty minutes to get our food. About four hours later I woke up in the middle of the night with explosive vomiting and, well, you can assume what else. Definitely had food poisoning and this has knocked me out for about two days now. I paid for s*** and literally thats what I got. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Very slow service. Stood outside for a long while watching two employees talking. Knocked on the employee door to see what was taking so long. The lady told me I was next, but I would have to wait because she couldnt give me my food, only the carhop can do that. Eventually the car hop rolled around and took a seat outside at the large menu outside and started messing around with it. I gave up and just left. Very poor customer service. Get rid of the "only the carhop can hand out food" rule. What a joke.

So, theres a girl who takes the orders, she acts like someone came to HER house and demanded a meal after looking through HER cabinets. Listen, girl, this restaurant does not belong to YOU, you were hired to take orders, do you understand that? TAKE ORDERS, not give them. Im writing a letter to corporate and hopefully theyll send you home to think about your actions. Do not tell a passing customer to "put your coupons away" and "you are not listening".

The food is fine but the service is consistently HORRIBLE. They are the slowest drive thru Ive ever been in. Its nothing to wait 20 minutes in the drive thru (not exaggerating). One night I came through, got all the way to the window to pick up my food only to be told their credit card machine was down and since I didnt have cash I left empty handed. I keep coming back because I live down the street but seriously this place sucks. Step yo game up.

I usually enjoy my occasional visit to Sonic but the last two visits at this location have left a rather sour taste in my mouth. On Memorial Day I was greeted by the same person from my last visit and not only was she short with me because I took my time reading through an extensive menu. She also promptly shut the drive through window and I couldnt even get ketchup to go with my order. Needless to say, I will not be going back there anymore.

What a terrible experience! My 12 year old boy couldnt get anyone to acknowledge him at the window at 10:30am. We were the only customers and we saw people inside. I, their father also tried to get service a half our later after we walked next door to run our errand. I couldnt get service either, and still, there were no customers. I rang the bell and tapped on the window. One worker looked over at me for a second and went back to ignoring me.
