Dont get me wrong. Awesome beer, and awesome pizza. But the service is far from great. Wait and manager staff is BELITTLING AND RUDE. AWFUL SERVICE!!!! I have been coming here since the beginning. But my dad is the biggest darkhorse fan there is, without a doubt. My dad got a custom mug, and it truly was his pride and joy. We come here at least 5 or 6 times a month, in the summer, 8 or 9. But when my my dad went in there tonight (2/23/16) he was unwelcomed by a large chip in his expensive mug. As he asked how he could go about getting a replacement. The maneger was flat out, RUDE. AWFUL SERVICE, Especially for a regular. He went on and on how it was all my dads fault, and my dad can buy a brand new mug if need be. It was awful, and very depressing on their part. I will not be a regular anymore.Nor will I have my office christmas parties there, and any other company I know who has their parties there, I will inform them of the awful service. If they at all want to contact me and make me a hapy regular again, I wouldnt hesitate to accept. Wish this situation was handled a lot better. I do not reccomend the service here. Very reckless, and even more careless. Very sad that they lost such service as of all my family, and many friends. I hope we can fix this pressing issue.

My husband and I went here for a day date! We were so so excited about finally being able to check this place out , we were so terribly sorry we went! The whole experience was awful! The beer wasnt mind blowing, the service was beyond terrible and the food was out right DISGUSTING and overpriced!!! My husband had a the mug club(which he enjoyed but said it could have been better), I had the tacos( ABSOLUTELY down right DISGUSTING) the meat was dry , over cooked and it had so much salt, it made me want to throw up!! No amount of guac, sour cream and pico could cover up that trash to make it edible!!! The tortillas were over microwaved!!! The chips were pulled straight out of a bag and were beyond stale! I took one bite and had to spit it out and pushed my plate away! We paid 35 dollars for garbage! We will not return nor would I recommend this place to anyone! Oh ya the place was flithy and the atmosphere meh!

When you walk in your expectations are very high and the scent of amazing craft brew is in the air. This excitment fades..... as you sit at your table and discuss the atmosphere, the menu, whats going on in each others lives eventually 30mins pass and you realize you are thirsty at a brewery. Hunger is there but really where was a staff at all? The sonic booms of them breaking the sound barrier when the pass by fill the air. We held our arm up at anyone wearing a Dark Horse shirt and we found out they are really good at avoiding eye contact. We got one finally and he said "Im only taking drink orders" the beer and water arrived. So good, the Plead the 5th was great. 25 more mins pass by and with no mention of food we got the idea. This place is a really fancy bar. Dont go for dinner, Im writing this from Schulers. Go to Schulers for dinner its great.

Stopped in for a pizza with my son. The pizza was just OK, but cost $25.00. You can get a great pizza down the road in Homer at Cascarellis for much less. The tap room was small and crowded service was OK. The thing that just blew my mind was the fact that they had a sign on their jukebox warning people not to play AC/DC because the owner evidently hates them. A band that has sold over 210 million records. Is this guy an idiot? I guess you can have poor marketing skills like this if you dont have any local competition. which this place does not. You could drop this pub in a place like Las Vegas and it would shrivel and die. I also sat through an episode of their reality show, Dark Horse Nation, what a joke!

I want to take you there and watch you open the front door and immediately look up at the ceiling filled with thousands of custom-made beer mugs (each owned by someone who appreciates great beer). From there, youd walk back to their amazing beer garden and I can watch your draw drop when you see how beautiful (and large) it is. Wed probably listen to some great band play for a few minutes and order one of their home-brewed creations (like the infamous Crooked Tree IPA) and then order some food. When your food comes out, youd take one bite and consider moving to scenic Marshall, Michigan just because of Dark Horse. Its that great.

The beer is not Bells caliber but pretty good, as is the food. Not a place to go for hoppy beers, but their imperial stout is yummy. The service is Atrocious. Not a single person in my party was offered another beer, we had to flag down a waitress every time to ask for one. After the first round and food were delivered, we no longer existed. We called days ahead for a group of 9 but it didnt matter. Nothing was set up for us, and nobody helped us put the tables together. The high chair was old and broken, and did not securely attach to then chair or table. Not going there again and not recommending the place to others.

We decided to go here for Mothers day. The food was average. Unfortunately our server, Dee Dee was rude to us throughout our dinner. They were careless with how they served some of our meals. My sister in law requested no bacon on her salad instead she recieved no chicken and the bacon was put on. The food portions were small and over priced. To top it all off there is a second charge from Dark horse on my account that I did not approve at an amount that I do not recognize. I was not impressed and I will not be eating here again. I will be calling the manager about this issue.

Best brewery Ive ever been to, easily the best in the state of Michigan. This is a favorite for everyone I know, me and my friends come here on a regular basis. Been to the 4 Elf annual party twice and its always a great time. They have amazing food (Blue Flame sandwich and the johnny boy bread are my personal favorites) service is excellent and I always feel welcome by both the customers and staff. Beer will never disappoint. Never had a bad one in all the years Ive been coming here. These guys have a serious eye for quality in every aspect imaginable, ESPECIALLY their beer!

Over - rated!! Beer is ok, but most can be bought in store- lame. I brought daughter (8yo) to see the fish tank table, kitchen staff was swearing non stop as well as a lady behind bar. Food was decent, except my daughter only wanted bacon and lettuce sandwich and they charged $10.99 for it. WOW, rip off. On closing thoughts, come in, look around, take a pic or 2, get in car and drive down to store for their beer and McDonalds and enjoy your evening. I will not purchase their beer/merchandise anymore nor ever think of bringing daughter here for a nice father/daughter dinner.
