Gotta love local coffee places, and this is a great one. Water Street has a huge following. This location had a recent upgrade, and you can see it in the counter area when you walk in. It looks updated, very nice and modern, and has a much better and improved display of their foods and desserts. The only two downsides for me were that a) on a Wednesday afternoon, it was a challenge to find a seat, so you may want to be prepared to not have a spot to sit (if the back room isnt available, like when I was there) and b) the prices for some things feel a bit high for me. For example, a single vanilla cupcake in the dessert case was $3.50 (and to be honest, it wasnt even a showy cupcake!). All the food looked delicious and wonderful so its probably worth the price if you want anything, but I just stuck with my $5 medium chai tea.

One of my two favorite coffees in Kalamazoo and one of my favorite places to meet up with a friend over a cup. Newly renovated, the atmosphere is welcoming, service is usually friendly. Good, wholesome food options too but not what Im usually there for so cant speak much to that. Parking can be a challenge - I usually grab a spot a bit north of their building in the parking lot off Oakland.

waterstreet has delicious food and drinks. The baristas routinely go out of their way to ensure you get a hand-crafted drink that makes you happy. I love that there is a different sandwich of the day. Please feel free to post a sandwich calendar ;) !!

Got an awesome Vanilla Latte here tonight to study for finals. Their prices are among the steeper ones, but you get what you pay for. Ive done a lot of homework in the Parkview location and for the most part its a great place to study.

I love that this place has local organic ingredients and coffee I feel good when ordering food and drinks here! It can get a little loud if youre trying to focus but its a great place to meet up and grab a cup of coffee!

The newly remodeled Oakland Drive location is a great place to have a meeting or just meet up with friends. Their outside seating area is a bonus, but if you want a quiet lounge, the back room has some comfy couches.
