The good news is that I like the food. The bread pudding is awesome. I normally have good experiences with this restaurant, however I have to give them a negative review based on one experience I had quite a few months ago. My husband and I were planning our wedding at that time, and we were having a special event with our wedding party where we were going to discuss details about the wedding, and overall just relax and have fun. We all decided on going to Golden Corral for dinner that night, so we made reservations well in advance. There were about 10 of us who were going to be eating. Once we got to Golden Corral, the managers told us that they filled our reservation because they got busy. The only possible way we could eat there is if waited for 3-4 hours. I understand that restaurants get busy and they fill up, however, the point in making the reservations was so that we were assured to have our spot. If they cant fulfill the reservations, they should not be taking reservations. Reservations are designed to reserve a place for your party in the event the restaurant gets busy. Golden Corral is unable to concept this. After about an hour of driving around trying to find another place we would like we ended up at Cracker Barrel. I admit I still eat at Golden Corral and enjoy it, but I felt I had to share the negative experience I described above. It was horrible and showed a lack of common sense and integrity on the part of Golden Corral.

I was with two partners in Michigan when we decided it was time to eat. Low and behold the Golden Corral was in the parking lot and we figured Why Not? Upon entering we were each given a cup that was about 2000 square feet big for our soft drinks. We sat down and immediately began serving ourselves food from the various stations where one may pick and choose what they desire to eat. All of the food more or less tasted the same which is neither a bad or good thing. The people eating at the Golden Corral all looked the same, which again is neither a bad or good thing. Upon reflecting on my dine in experience at the GC, I would highly recommend this place for a group of friends who have just murdered and buried someone in a shallow grave. I stress once more that this is neither a bad or good thing. The one thing I do question is a business that Jeff Foxworthy endorses. He was the host of Americas popular game show Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? I believe this a question any potential Golden Corral costumer should ask themself before deciding to dine at this buffet restaurant chain.

Worst experience ever! The food was cold, the waitresss only job was to fill my drinks and she didnt even do that. The Chocolate Fountain... Well when we walked in, three little kids had their dirty ass little fingers in it, when I mentioned it to staff, nothing was done, they didnt even tell the horrible mother to watch her dirty ass kids, all the steak was beyond raw. I had a piece of stake and it was cold and purple, not red, purple. Went to get a parfait, and the whip cream had mold on it. I asked for a manager and explained to him the mold, he quickly took the desert and disappeared. None of the other parfaits were looked at or removed. I got the managers name and store ID number, and went to the health department and other places to complain. Absolutely disgusting!

Workers are very friendly. I just went there a couple times this month and the food was cold. It was great when it first opened but its gone down hill, and used to be reasonably priced but now its outrageous! I can go to mangolian, for half the price and that place doesnt mmakee, nor my husband running to the bathroom 50 times after eating there! Plates were dirty, and silverware was as well. Dont get me wrong it was ok, but id be more willing to give it another go, if theyd lower their ridiculous prices for the food, which mind you is supposed to be HOT and fresh! But i will say that the service from the hostess and waitresses were great.

Dont like it . DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE . Waitress was lazy . Of course the food was terrible . They are greedy with the steak . So much for all you can eat . Pay them way to much money for the garbage food they offer . And Everytime I get a clean plate or bowl . There would be dirty dishes in with the clean . THIS PLACE IS GROSS . Waitress was a joke to . Couldnt even take away the tray until told to . HEY GOLDEN CORRAL CLEAN YOUR DISHES SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET SICK FROM YOURS . THIS IS PLAIN NASTY .

It was the worst experience I have ever had there. The food was gross and didnt taste right. Almost all the stuff I got was either over cooked or not cooked enough. The plates werent cleaned all the way and were dirty. The deserts were dry and not good at all. Will never go back there ever again.... and when u call and complain they say sorry we cant do anything for you.... feel sick to my stomach since I ate there.

Our visit to the Golden Corral was very satisfying. The staff was very courteous. The food was well prepared and delicious with a variety of mouth watering choices. We were impressed enough to decide this will be our main choice for dining out. There wasnt one item that you will be disappointed in, do your self a favor and try the Golden Corral, you will glad you did.

Just left there, horrible food, service mediocre. I dont understand how people give this place 5 stars. The food is cold and looks like its been sitting there for hours. I felt a kick in the ass when I walked out the door after paying almost $52 for nasty food and to have to look at the fat ghetto people that eat there. Totally disgusting and will NEVER go there again.

Food was to dry and tasted horrible, managers and the staff are busy talking to certain people and shouldnt it be where food isnt wanting to come back up from just a plate? Our server was very attentive and nice. That was the only redeeming factor. Other than that....not impressed. Things were constantly empty, when you asked if they would refill, they look at you like you have 3 heads. The jerk serving the grill was incredibly rude to everyone. Even with the manager standing right next to him. The bathrooms were disgusting.

A little below average the cashier was super quite and seemed to hate his job to start. Food was ok some items seemed to have been sitting out for a while. Our server was ok didnt seem to care she was there either. The food was ok not great i dont think ill be going to a golden coral again though its not a good value.
