SPECIAL ALERT----EATING AT A RESTAURANT!!! For all the folks, young and old, that enjoy eating at a restaurant-----at least once in a while, read the post----important. Would you even consider entering a restaurant that told you that you could NOT bring in your own BOTTLE OF WATER to have with your meal??? What kind of nonsense is this? WATER----something that is FREE at ever restaurant! Everyone that I have talked to said that they would BOYCOTT a restaurant like this! ME TOO!! The name of this restaurant is WESTSIDE DINER----located on Ballenger Hwy, one block north of miller rd in Flint. It was posted on the internet that this restaurant had City of Flint water----but I guess that is not true. But, still the owner says that you can NOT bring in your own bottle of water. Hes afraid that it will look bad because of the internet post by Public Officials (they could not come up with any other excuse). I hope that all of yous out there will join me in NOT entering this restaurant until the owner changes his mind about his WATER POLICY. Further updates will be posted as time progresses. One of my favorite places to eat in Flint for a burger. The burgers are amazing. The breakfast food is usually pretty good too. They have a ton of options for people to select from. The shakes and malts are some of the very best in town. Most of the service is pretty great too, though on occasion, you will get some less than stellar service. Highly recommend checking out.

Ive driven by this place for 5 years and finally decided to eat there today. What a pleasant experience. Food came within 4 minutes of ordering. Had the hot turkey sandwich, real turkey, not chopped lunch meat and TWO scoops of mashed potatoes. I just sat back, looked around and thought "this is nice."

This diner is a Flint icon. It was the favorite spot of the late, beloved Professor Bell and he always ate here with large groups of Kettering students. I love their breakfast. Eating here is like taking a step back in time to the 50s. Wait staff are very friendly and service is always quick.

My neighborhood go to for all things tasty! Super friendly staff. Delicious menu from in house ground hamburgers, to gyros, coneys, full breakfast available all day, and so so much more. Dont forget to get an authentic diner milkshake, or a slice of heaven from their dessert menu!

I like the food and it is not too pricey. It is mostly good, my one complaint is that sometimes it takes a super long time to get our food... (super long according to my 11 year old daughter.) People are great. //sound of food being chewewed /(~)/

Fairly average diner. Dont order the burritos like I did. Burritos are not their specialty. The sour cream was so watery I felt nauseous. Order diner food at the diner. The waitresses are stereotypical and call you "hon" regardless of how old you are.

Excellent food and great service. I had the cinnamon french toast breakfast, 4 halfs of french toast, 2 eggs, 2 bacon - added coffee and the bill was under$7.50. The french toast was excellent. Great choice for breakfast

I wont be going back here. Every time i order a burger i request a grilled bun. They cant seem to get that part right. Today got home with food & the bun is so soggy and falling apart i cant even eat it
