I dont know if it is an employee change or what but the last few orders we had were horrible. Our boasted potatoes were barely cooked. Our chicken was not cooked all the way. Id rather it have more time to cook over getting food posion. Our last trip here after we were done looking at houses we sat to wait inside the store for our order. We waited and saw our order was done. Before we got it I watched to guy look at our order and gave it to the woman in drive tru they seemed all buddy buddy with because she likes hers cooked more. (Yes we saw the chicken taken out) which resulted in cold boasted potatoes and under cooked chicken. We were a little miffed because of this and dont see ourselves using this location anymore. If your male employees are busy impressing women at drive thru they should be focused on doing the other paying customers order that was here before they wander off in a flock and making sure its cooked all the way properly.

For me the chicken is just Ok. I went there for dinner one evening ordered chicken with potatoes. When I got my food it was given to me on a paper plate WHAT? paper plate! Im not on a picnic. The store was filthy and when I sat down to eat my meal served on a paper plate, like I said, the chicken was just Ok but the potatoes had a butter sauce drenched all over them. I took one bite and thats all. They were horrible. I will never go here again as this is my third time trying this Chicken Shack. This place never seems to be busy and often wonder how its stays in business. Skip this one and go to another chicken restaurant. Save your money and time.

Chicken shack is a family favorite of ours and has been for a few generations. Nothing about the food has ever really changed and thats what we love about it. I just recently moved out this way from Eastpointe and frequently visited the warren location. I was really happy to find that there was a store here for me to go to, and guess what? The food is EXACTLY the same here as it was in my hometown. Id choose them over "the colonel" any day of the week.

My wife and I ordered from them on 6/23. The service on the phone and at the counter was great. The restaurant was kinda warm, like the A/C wasnt working right but otherwise clean and inviting. The food tasted good, but we we expecting more. Her chicken was extremely greasy and my pork chops were dry and overcooked. We both had the broasted potatoes and found them to be dry and lacking in flavor.

The last time I return under current management. I recieved great service and food up until a few months ago. My potatoes had no butter on them, my rolls were not even taken out of the package that the manager put into my bag, my coleslaw was maybe 2 ounces. The potatoes and shrimp where however cooked nicely. Kudos to the young fry cooks. This meal cost me $22... (╭╮)

I watched one of there employees change all the trash cans and then immediately started putting food in the bag without washing her hands. The manager was standing right there too and said nothing. I told the lady to wash her hands, and she looked at me like that was a foreign idea. Dont go here, they obviously dont care about public health and safety.

Ordered a pan of potatoes for a party no butter was on the potatoes and they were not cooked all the way. I called and takes to the manager and said they had a couple of bad batches of potatoes, he would talk to his boss to see if something could be done. 5 days later no phone call not happy at all with the customer service!!

Oh so sad. Dined in and Ordered cat fish and had to return it due to the batter not fully cooked and full of grease. The second order was cooked better but still full of grease. Whoever the cook is should be fired! I have been to other Chicken Shacks and this was the WORST experience ever and I will NOT be going back!

Good food as allways but the service today was unreal I was left at the drive thru speaker for 15 mins without them saying anything and then I pulled to the window I was sean but no one came to the window so i went inside and it was at least 10 mins before I was waited on

Very slow service...it took 30 minutes to get our order, but only 1 guy was working. The boss was late coming into work. The one guy was working very hard and did good, but way too much work for one person. The business looked run down. The ribs were good.

It takes them forever to cook your food,. And the help is usually rude,. They raised their food prices, its very expensive for a couple pieces of chicken. . Their parking lot is in horrible condition,. Major ruts. Holes

The staff was very friendly and courteous. Miranda brought our food to our table as we waited and the food was fresh and cooked to perfection. I recommend if youre in the area to stop by and get a good meal.

Great food but the store is nasty. You can smell the dirty mop water they use every Night to clean the floors. The Manager/Owner has to smell it every morning they walk in. Cmon Man clean that place up!
