If you have food allergies, I would recommend eating elsewhere, as they dont take it seriously. I just went there, and I ordered the rib eye steak along with broccoli and potato. I have an allergy to wheat and to nuts, and am very allergic to soy. I told the waiter this, and asked to not have the biscuit which came with the meal, and inquired as to how the broccoli is cooked, which as it turns out is cooked in soybean oil. I asked that they please steam the broccoli and not use oil, and to skip the biscuit, and the waiter said yeah sure. So my meal comes and it does have the biscuit, but I was in a group and the waiter just kind of put the food down and left, so I waited for him to come back and in the meantime did not eat. When he returned, I explained about the biscuit, and asked about the broccoli, as I was concerned that given the biscuit, they may have cooked the broccoli with soybean oil, which I am highly allergic too. So I ask the waiter this, and he said something to the effect of, "oh yeah, I think they did use soybean oil. I heard what you said before, but I didnt think it was a big deal. Do you think its going to be a problem for you?" And it is a problem for me, so I got the manager, who apologized and then asked if I could just eat around the parts of the meal that Im allergic to if I dont like those foods. And I explained that no I cant because its a life threatening allergy, and I need a new meal, you know, made the way I originally requested. And he seemed annoyed, but then said ok fine we will do it again for you. So they did make the meal over again, and it was a bit of a wait. Though to his credit at that time he did then apologize for the misunderstanding. The food itself was pretty good, so I think if you dont have food allergies it would be fine. But if you do have food allergies, dont go here. This was my first time here; Im never going back.

What was the best part of my dining experience? Sitting under a vent blowing cold air......nope Having ice water poured down my back by a waitress.....nope Confirming with the waitress that the wet burrito came with chunk beef, then receiving ground beef, then waiting 15 more minutes for a chicken burrito while the rest of the dinner party finished their meals.....definitely not Wrapping up my meal to take home.....close Leaving $90 lighter.......*&%#$ Food quality.....wins by default First time impression? Hmmmm

Not as good as the last time I was here. They had a potato chip crusted walleye which was one of the worst dishes Ive ever had in my life. Who puts cheese on fish? I honestly should have sent it back but didnt want to offend the people I was with. It was honestly disgusting though. The wait staff was friendly but milled around and just randomly help you. Im not sure if it was a new philosophy or if they were just a little disjointed that night.

Moose Preserve its a must go if you are in the Pontiac area. From venison chili to buffalo meatloaf and fish and chips... There is a wide variety to choose from and it is all excellent. Large portions too so you dont leave hungry - check out the fried chicken dinner with FIVE pieces of chicken. Ive never seen anyone eat it all! But leave room if you can for the plate of warm, homemade chocolate chip cookies!

This place is beyond amazing. The most amazing service Ive ever encountered. The manager Kaitlyn, is honestly so impeccable. She truly cares about customer satisfaction and she goes above and beyond. This went from being a place I came to for dinner dates to convincing my whole office to come for lunch. The food is spectacular! The service is outstanding! The venue is beautiful, especially outside!

We met here with friends and we had a blast. The waiter was very nice and good at his job. The food was very good and everybody were happy with their choices. They even offer a bone to take home if you have dogs (not sure what the story is behind the restaurant but all the walls are covered with pictures of dogs). Would recommend it and definitely go back if we didnt live that far from it.

We spent our first Thanksgiving at Moose Preserve. It was ruined. The waitress was flippant and rude. Our Rib Eye and Filet Mignon were cooked wrong, sent back and again the Filet was wrong..We could not eat and it. And the "pumpkin pie" was awful. It was pure clove. No apologies and no management

The Moose Preserve is an awesome place to go for lunch or dinner. I love the laid back atmosphere and the friendly service. The blackened chicken caesar sandwich, mac and cheese, ribs and jerk chicken pasta are my favorites! Dont forget the cookies for desert!

I have been going to this place for a long time , and have never been disappointed i sat on the patio for the first time to night and really enjoyed being outdoors! Great food and good service cant beat it and the prices are very reasonable!!!

Strange hole in the wall but its pretty amazing. Rustic ambience, kind of feels like a ski chalet with wood paneling everywhere. The food is standard pub fare. The service is a little lackluster but its a nice spot for the right occasion.

I think its time to update the menu. It doesnt seem to have changed in over a decade. ZZzzzzz! Now, I must say, whoever comes up with the copy for the posters around the joint is a genius! They never fail to make me chuckle!

Great service, fantastic atmosphere! You have to try the Wild Thang appetizer for an all around treat. Im sure everything on the menu is fabulous, but me Im stuck on the Road Kill Grill. Just like Arnold, "Ill be back"

Great food. They know how to cook a steak. Had the black and bleu filet medium and a buffalo burger with onions and swiss. Both were great. Staff was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend
