First of all, this is my first trip to Waltham, MA. Im originally from California and I have had a lot of good sushi. This was really good. It compares with some of the higher-end sushi in San Diego. We came here as a department-outing for my job. The waitress was really nice with our orders and they took an average amount of time to prepare it. Too fast of sushi is normally not a good thing and too long to prepare it is quite annoying, and this was just right (as the rhyme says). It taste delicious. And to top it all off my friend from Cali wanted a Samuel Adams beer glass from Massachusetts so I asked the manager for one of their glasses since I didnt have time to pick one up anywhere else. I offered to buy it but he just willingly gave it to me and said, "Welcome to Boston". How cool is that!? I was going to give them a 5-star review anyways, but the glass made me remember to give them one. Thank you, Umi Cuisine!

Excellent chirashi sushi bowl, and rolls. Also have a selection of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese dishes if you are looking for something other than sushi. Its easy to get to right off 95 south and there is tons of parking in the lot. Very friendly wait staff, very clean restrooms.

Great food and excellent service. Went there for lunch around 2pm on a Sat and the restaurant had a lot of people there already. The special rolls are very well made and the fish was very fresh with nice cuts. Food came out very quick and our waitress was friendly.

Excellent sushi and service. Restaurant was very clean and pleasant. The timing on dishes was a little scattered for it not being not very busy (only two other tables). Didnt matter as the sushi and other food was excellent.

Im a regular at Umis and the owner is a regular at my Starbucks. That put aside it is still some of the best sushi Ive had. Theres always smiles around and the atmosphere is great! Defiantly deserves 10 out of 5 stars.

Food 7/10, presentation 9/10, service 8/10. Price $$ Nice cozy place with decent food. Even they have the korean and Chinese food as well. Sushi was fresh and presentation also good. Staffs are kind too.

Friendly service but slightly disappointing food: fried gyoza were soggy and not at all crisp; spicy udon dish rather oddly contained with carrot, peas, and sweetcorn.

Best sushi in Waltham. I take clients and co-workers here due to the quality of the food. Make sure you get in before noon or youll be waiting for tables.
