I have to disagree with several other reviewers. I have been to several Wood N Taps and all of them have been excellent. This really depends on your grading scale. To qualify mine: I hate Applebees, I can tolerate TGIF and I dont care for Chilis. I dont like Olive Garden at all and I can tolerate Ruby Tuesdays however I think it is outrageously overpriced. Ok, so if that gives you an idea of my tastes: WnT has great service and outstanding food for the money. Every time I have been there the server has been attentive and smart. The food is not frozen nor has it ever been. The selection of foods is exactly what I like for a quick lunch or a business dinner. The food comes in reasonable period of time and is not over heated, or lukewarm or cold. The salads and the steaks are spot on. Is it the same value as a really fancy $400/dinner steak place in NYC? I cant say. But I can say that Ive never been disappointed nor has my family and we are tough customers. It isnt expensive and the food has been consistently great. Highly recommend it.

Usually a solid experience for drinks, but the food at the Vernon restaurant is sub par. I recently used their take-out service for a fairly average sized order for a family of 6. We ordered 3 corn dogs (the kids like them), a white pizza and a half order of chicken nachos. To our disappointment... the corn dogs were frozen solid to the point where there was ice on the meat, the chicken on the nachos was ice cold, and there was a "restaurant" kitchen wrapper under our pizza. This was simply disgusting on many levels... We will not be ordering food here anymore! I uploaded some photos, but cant figure out how to link them to this review...

I went with my family, and theres about 7 of us total. We wait about 30 minutes to be seated, no big deal. Our server finally comes around to get our drink orders after 45 minutes of waiting. We get our drinks, which were mostly waters or bottled sodas, 45 more minutes later. It takes them an hour and a half to get our food orders , which they messed up. I ordered a Cesar Salad, and it took them 1 hour total to bring it out to me after taking the orders. My family and I spent a long time here just for food. Then they were out of deserts, which the waitress told us that they were frozen, and more would not come in until the next day.

Best food, beer and atmosphere of any place around Vernon/Rockville...or Manchester for that matter. Thank God they opened this in Vernon because there is nowhere around here that compares. Beer selection is fantastic and even when the place is crowded, the room is spacious and open and so there is room to hang out without feeling claustrophobic. Burgers are great and you can pick any of their appetizers and not be disappointed. Great Food, Great Beer, Great Place to go to.

I had classic cheeseburger and my husband had corned beef. Both of us delighted beyond belief. Wed been there once YEARS (maybe close to 10) ago and it was terrible do we were reluctant. We were seated promptly, the waitress pleasant and attentive. My burger cooked exactly how I like it (medium) and the appetizer soft pretzels were fantastic. Soft, salted and hot. Well go back, sooner than last time. For sure.

Waited over 20 minutes for Service after being seated four waitress and the manager walked by with out any one of them asking me or my kid if we would like anything to drink we were finally was asking by a other waitress when we started to leave and go the the 99 and with in a minutes we had our order taking and had drinks the wood n tap was good but sadly its going down hill the 99 has much better service.

We arrived at 8:45pm to have a birthday party of 5 people and was told they had no tables. There was a few people out smoking when we came back out and I made the comment couldnt believe there wasnt a table and the gentleman said really? I know theres a 8 top as we just left and there was another beside us they hadnt cleaned off yet I cant believe they had to tables empty and they wouldnt seat us!

I actually truly like the food and have ever since Ive been coming here. However today I went to lunch with my family. This included my 18 month old daughter. After we were seated we sat for 15 min and were never greeted by our server. Meanwhile other parties arrived and were served almost instantly. Im not sure why we were ignored but it ultimately forced us to leave and seek service elsewhere.

Overrated. Place is always crowded so I expected some really good food and drink. Prices were on the expensive side, but not terrible for good food, but food was very bland. Everything looked good but just did not have the flavor I expect in good food. Beer was good but the poor on the draft was on the small side. Overall it was a major disappointment.

The Manager at this particular location is superb!! He always goes out of the way to make sure my guests and myself are always welcome and our needs are satisfied. The food is consistently good as well. With a great plentiful draft selection and a decent list of high end spirits this has become a favorite destination in the Vernon area for sure!

I usually. Like it here but this time I took.my mom who is 80. They charged her full price for one cup coffee.$2.65., her small cesar salad was almost $6.00 .no meat all it was was a side salad with cesar dressing. Leaves were wilty. My Thai. Salad was 1/2 the size of what I got in August at 10.95. Was very disappointed.

Reliably good American pub food. While they have a decent selection, I habitually order a burger medium rare. It arrives at the table warm and remarkably juicy. Reasonable prices attract a mostly local clientele. Good place for dinner and drinks with family or casual friends, or for a business lunch.

We love meeting our family from CT down at Wood-N-Tap. I wish they had one up in MA around us. Great food, good beer and drink selection. We love the menu! Atmosphere is family friendly, casual without being overtly so. A much needed and welcomed alternative to the other well known chain restaurants!

The food took forever to arrive. It was cold, & they messed up my hubbys burger. The manager did rectify his meal & heated mine up. With the promise of his burger being free. When the check arrived they had charged us for his burger twice. So then we had to wait for that to get fixed. Not impressed.

The food has always been good anytime Ive gone and no problems with the service either. Nothing stands out though. Parking at this location absolutely blows. 99 is nearby and better in every category, but I sometimes still go to wood & tap since the food is good and the variety is different.

Delicious food! Lots of dishes are based around locally sourced items. Inside is a beautiful building and they even set up the outdoor seating to be comfortable and cozy, despite being close to a busy road - the wall of bushes they put up do wonders to block out the sounds of traffic.
