If you get Kathy as a server try and get a different one. Unfortunately you might not know until you get your reciept. We got sat and waited about 10 minutes before she even came over just to ask if we were ready to order. She never introduced herself or even took drink orders. When we told her we needed more time she brought over some water. About 15 more minutes go by and all 5 of our waters were about empty and she finally comes back to take our order. She did go get us a pitcher for the table but only after waiting that decent while. The food was out pretty quick but she forgot side sauces for 4 of us. Also I ordered a bowl of clam chowder and only got one packet of oyster crackers. I asked politely for more. She left came back 5 minutes later empty handed then remembered and came back. It just seemed like everything we asked for, we had to wait an unreasonable amount of time because she was disorganized and couldnt remember things. It was busy and I completely understand that things take longer but it wasnt so busy that she forgot basic serving etiquette like greeting us, taking a drink order while we look over the menu, or even taking 10 minutes just to come back without what we asked for. The food was excellent however my experience wasnt the best due to poor service. I can say the other servers worked much more diligently and made theyre customers happy. Id recommend the Blue Lobster Grille to anyone who likes good seafood. Hopefully you get a good server.

Horrible service. Went here during off-season (Oct), sat at the counter and watched as waitress took the order of two people who arrived same time as me and completely ignored me. As I watched them get served appetizers, I was still waiting. I asked the waitress if she could take my order and she told me no. Said I had to wait for other waitress who was handling several large parties. I told her that made no sense. Im a party of one at the front counter and because I sat on the left I cant get served til someone gets around to me. She finally conceded and got me a glass of water, but still no order taken. When my assigned waitress finally arrived I noted that this method made no sense and I shouldnt watch others be served while I just sat ignored. Her reaction was to throw up her hands and walk away! My response was to walk out the door. No customer should ever be treated any less than another. I went around the corner to Roy Moores and got excellent service and I believe better food at a better price. This restaurant charges more and you get far less.

The restaurant waitress is extremely rude and impatience, which I am am wondering if it is due to I have the Asian face or not. I went into the restaurant with my mom and my son, hoping to find some dishes with Mussels and lobster. The waitress, who is around 50 years old with pony a tail came by and asked me what I would like to order. I have no idea whats in a meal and asks her if she could introduce some dishes with Mussel and any recommendations. She spend around 30 seconds with me with a poke face and suddenly said it seemed you are not ready and I am pretty busy right now, see ya! Then she LEFT! The fact is I dont see too many tables were full in the restaurant at the moment and obviously she is not interested in serving my table. So I left after she is gone. VERY rude waitress. If she only treat my table like this, I believe she is a racist. Finally I spend my money somewhere else nearby at 7th Wave, which has good service and delicious food. My advise is SPEND your money wisely somewhere else!

Mehh. Food was great, but the service...well, lets just say I second what a others have said in their reviews. Your experience will depend on your server. My server was incredibly slow. She honestly seemed like her mind was on a completely different plane of reality. Never said anything friendly or polite. The first words she said were, "do you know what you want?".... I believe her name was Kathy or Cathy. Two people in our party have previously worked as servers in the industry, myself being one of them. As such, there are certain things I am very forgiving of (if you are slammed with customers, I am not going to send you for waters sixteen times or expect my food to come instantly...I get it), but there is absolutely no excuse for an absence of courtesy. You are the restaurants face as a server. No matter what you have going on personally, you put a smile on your face and use manners with your customers. Always. Period.

The view at the back of the restaurant was very nice. The seating was kind of too close together but not uncomfortably so. The service was slow and rushed. They did fill up while there but each server only 5 tables max. Refills were too slow. The kitchen was fast given the complete fill up at the tables. The food was presented nicely. The crab cake sandwich was very fresh and tasty. The fries with my sandwich tolled about 10 (while others had tons). The fries were undercooked. The pickle looked a little old. The pulled pork sandwich was exactly that. Huge pieces of pork. Very filling and tasty. The grilled chicken Sandwich was ok.

Got seated near the front window in clear view of the hostess and wait staff, waited for a while, asked for someone to take our order, waited longer, left. At least two waitresses in the vicinity who knew we were sitting there. The hostess could definitely see us and didnt get someone. Im pretty sure the hostess even saw that we were leaving. I understand maybe someone just forgot initially, but we explicitly told the hostess we were ready to order and then we heard from no one.

Good food, great view of Rockport harbor and the famous "Motif #1" building immortalized in so many photos over the years. Very friendly wait staff; interesting interpretation of "fish & chips" that includes no chips but two optional sides (rice, slaw, salad, etc.). When I mentioned this to the server, she said others had commented but the Brazillian chef couldnt understand that "chips" meant "with fries!"

Really good food! I had the Buffalo chicken salad which was delicious. People with me had the lobster risotto and the seafood linguine and they loved it. The place was packed on a Saturday night, so you should make a reservation. We walked in without one and they did everything they could to get us in quickly. Very accommodating and very quick and friendly service! Great spot for a seaside dinner.

This was my first time eating here! My friend and I loved it! We had the clam chowder and seafood stew. The chowder had lots of big chunks of clam, it was creamy and delicious. The seafood stew was outrageously tasty!! Im going to come back for that stew for sure. The place is small and cute. The service was great. All in all a wonderful experience.

Great views of the lobster boats. The server was friendly knowledgeable and attentive. Great crab options we had crab cake appetizer which was homemade pan-fried we also had crab salad roll and grilled sourdough crab salad avocado sandwich which was good also. Service was quick place was clean
