hi I was just at the Imperial Terrace to order a number 25 it was with shrimp veggies and white rice I had asked for extra shrimp they charged me a dollar when I got home I opened it up there was exactly four little shrimps for the whole meal ...I called them and they told me with that number 25 only comes with 3 shrimp and the extra shrimp which I paid... which was a dollar and they tell me that my dollar only allows for one extra shrimp... I have ordered this many times without extra shrimp and let me tell you there was more than three shrimp in the number 25... I guess Ive learned my lesson I will never ever go back to a place that gives you a meal with three little shrimp in it.. so what I would have to say is find another place to order your Chinese food... total rip-off... also I forgot to tell you I asked for certain vegetables not to be cooked with it I get home all the vegetables in there that I had asked them not to put in with the meal they put it anyways.... and believe it or not the gentleman at the front desk actually wrote that on the slip and when I spoke to the gentleman on the phone he could care less about how I was unsatisfied with my meal.... find a new place to eat .... also the place had a funny smell too it... one very unsatisfied customer

Ive never reviewed anything in my life. I dont pretend to be a food critic but I felt as though i I needed to ask the Terrace one question. What happened? You go to a place for 15 years, had parties catered there and described it to your friends as the best and most consistent Chinese food restaurant in the south Shore area only to pick up a $33 meal, bring it home and have everything be borderline inedible. I would never write this because of one bad meal, its been two years in the making. So again Ill ask, what happened to this place. Find another Chinese restaurant people. From best to worst in 15 years. Farewell Imperial Terrace.

We used to eat here 40 plus years ago when the food was very good. Last night, we tried the Imperial Palace in our search for good Chinese food. We were very disappointed. The egg rolls were mostly cabbage with no taste. I always order orange flavored beef as a measuring stick. The dish was terrible, with dried tasteless meat and no hint of orange. Even the red pepper, which is usually hot, was weak with no spirit. We will never go there again. We mourn the closing of the Hong Kong Eatery near the municipal parking which suddenly closed, probably as a result of the terrible winter.

Ive lived in Quincy for 23 years and Imperial is the only Chinese food my husband and I like. I order the take out at least 2 or 3 times a month. Always yummy. I sat in restaurant only once, it was just as good. Service was very good. Im not big on the specialty dishes. But my son said theyre wonderful. General Guas chicken,, But if you like the standard Pu Pu platter and rice. Then this is your place, for sure. Wicked awesome! ;-)

Just hung up from placing a delivery order. The guy that took the order has absolutely no customer service experience. Very rude! I thought maybe the place was on fire since he couldnt take the time to answer any questions. I had to repeat myself several times because he wasnt listening to anything that I was saying. Will think twice before going back here. Very poor.

Food and service is good IF YOU ARE THERE more times than not if you get take out they screw you over as much as they can to save money. Ive ordered things that were half the size as when I got them sitting at the table when arrived.

The Mai Tais are killer. The restaurant is tacky and dated. They serve typical Americanized Chinese food and the bar is usually full of drunk Muppets fueling up on cheep cocktails. Basically a Chinese dive bar.

Best General Gau period! All white meat and delicious. This is the old China Star from back in the day and still looks the same but dont let the old looks turn you away

My favorite chinese food by far. I have been going here since I moved to Quincy 28 years ago. Prices are good and staff are all very friendly. Food is eceptional.

The food was swimming in grease. The walls were dirty and greasy. The shelf next to our booth had an inch of dust on it. What does the kitchen look like?
