Their staff are incompetent and cant do their SKILL-LESS JOB! have been there several times, hoping Sonic woke up and hired workers that could handle simple tasks such as flipping burgers and making shakes. There were days they had no customers and they still couldnt manage to bring me a drink ONLY. Normally I believe workers need higher pay but all the workers at this "fast food" joint need to be fired! They dont deserve to be paid at all, they sit on their asss all day talking with each other. The few times they have brought my food to me (which was maybe twice) it was cold and nasty. NEVER WILL I GO TO A SONIC AGAIN A BUNCH OF UNEDUCATED LAZY SLOBS WORKING THERE. If you cant handle a job that requires no education and skill, please kill yourself. Sonic workers you are a waist of space and air on this planet. Its pathetic Sonic get yourself some workers who can handle their skill less job. The people you have cant handle a single job or task, they fail at life. If I was the owner of sonic I would fire ALL the staff including the manager at this location, and find myself some workers who can manage to flip burgers, make milk shakes and get peoples orders to them in a timely manner. ANY REVIEW ON HERE FOR THE PEABODY LOCATION THAT IS ABOVE TWO STARS IS LYING! Dont go here! Look at the reviews they dont lie! I have gone there several times hoping Sonic got their stuff together and hired workers who could handle such a basic job. However they have failed at that. All the staff so is talk with each other, and God forbid you interrupt them so they can GASP do their job, they look at you like you came to their personal home in the middle of the night and asked them to build you a rocket. I hear Sonics in the South are good, all I know is dont go there if your from New England like me. WORST FAST FOOD PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE. I dont see how those workers even have the intelligent to breath, let alone show up to socialize all day on their ass. You will thank me for saving you at least 45 mins to an hour of your life, money and the frustration. Worst place in the earth is Sonic in Peabody. I spoke with the manager before too once, after waiting 1 hour and 15 mins for a shake!!! He said, "oh its been sitting here we must of forgot about it. We can bring it out now." Why the hell would I want a shake thats warm, and melted. Even their managers are idiots. If you want to save your reputation sonic change ALL YOUR WORKERS CUZ THE ONES YOU HAVE DONT DESERVE TO EVEN LIVE.

Absolute trash, every part of the experience was trash. If i could give no stars i would. Took about 15 minutes just to get our order in. After pressing the button to order we had to wait 2-3 for a response at all. Then upon response the woman would take at least a full minute between each item to confirm what we had said and allow us to continue with our order. The woman then took so long and had to clarify so many times that she left and another woman took her place. This one had even longer pauses and even answered laughing a few times, incredibly rude and disrespectful. We then proceeded to wait for a full 30 minutes until i walked inside to ask if our order had been lost. There was not one person in their front of house at all, and after standing at their register for about 3 minutes, someone came out of the kitchen to the till. He had a speaker hanging from his hip still playing music while he addressed me and didnt turn it down at all while i was trying to talk to him. When i let him know we had been waiting for a long time he simply brushed it off and said he couldnt do anything about it. So i told him our stall number and asked him to check on it and then went back to my car. 5 or so minutes later our food finally came. The only highlight was that the man who brought our food was nice and friendly to us. The food was fine, typical sonic quality, absolutely not worth the wait of a dine in restaurant though. Our experience was that of a slow, rude, and less than competent staff

I ate at this location October 30th 2011 during the lunch hour and had the worst restaurant experience of my life. I ordered a #2 with ketchup mustard only and my wife order a #1 with only jalapeno and cheese. When our orders came out they were a #1 & #2 regular. I called the waitress back to my car and she apologized and said shell fix it. When the orders came out the #1 was the same with jalapeno put on andD mine was the same but to my surprise 1 our of the 2 patties had TEETH BITE MARKS AND A CHUNK OUT OF IT !!! I asked for the manager and a young woman came out and pretty much called me a liar by saying that the semi circular chunk missing that had teeth marks was from something else. She offered to fix the order and give me a giftcard. As grossed out as I was I told her just to refund my burger only, I appreciated the giftcard and no offense i wont be back. She takes my receipt and goes back inside and shortly after a new waitress comes out w a new burger. A new burger isnt the refund I requested. I asked for the manager again and when she came out again she couldnt give me a straight answer why I couldnt get a refund, I couldnt get my receipt back and I quote " you said you wernt coming back so Im not waisting a gift card". People this is a wonder food chain but the actions of this location brings shame to this chain. I highly recommend not eating there. If I could leave negative stars I would and I will NEVER return to this restaurant location as long as I live.

I am bumming big time that the Sonic in Lawrence and in Wilmington are gone. However, their service was crumbling to the ground quickly. I had been craving sonic for days and I broke down and said, "We are going to make this trip to Peabody!" So we did, and it was AWESOME! I mean, awesome as in it was open and comfort food! We dined in our car. Our waitress was knowledgeable but she sounded like "Whaaaatever" Not in a terrible mean way but like "I dont have time for this right now" (meaning my questions or confusion with ordering) So after I ordered our food, I went around to take pictures. I went inside and thats when I saw the cashier who took my order. I recognized her by her distinct voice. She had a line of customers and no wonder she sounded so overwhelmed. They really should have had more people taking orders. On that note though, the speed of service was amazing. No sooner did I come back out, sit in my car, our order was ready! We ordered quite a bit of food too and it was piping hot so I was surprised. Great place. Clean, awesome comfort food. I wont be able to make the trip often because it is quite far. I wish one would open up closer to NH. :(
