Ive been here a few times, for dinner/drinks, only because my boyfriend lives around the corner. I will never return. I have never had good service and the food is nothing to write home about. The last time I was in there with my boyfriend was a slow Wednesday night to watch the bruins game and grab a few drinks and perphaps an app. We got our first drink, didnt take long to be approached at all... we then sat there for about 10 minutes with empty drinks while the bartenders snickered at the one of the waitress to wait for her beer because she wasnt the only person in there. Understandable, if you are busy. However, there were 8 people at the bar, us included. As she wiped down the wine bottles and talked to her friends, we still waited for menus and another drink. She never came back over to us. Being a waitresss myself, I know your not busy, and I know what its like to want to get out of work. But its 9, your kitchen is still open, and you have to be here, so lighten up and perhaps put a smile on your face. needless to say she never came back over, we put money down and left. The second we started walking out the door she hollered thanks guys, have a good night!" oh? so now that you have your money and 2 less customers your night is better? good. I dont recommend the place.

The Post Office Pub is a great place to dine! I have only eaten their food once but it was really good. The reason why I am posting this review is because my husband Michael just started working there last week and from everything he tells me the people that work there are all wonderful people and very professional. Normally when getting a new job you dont know what your walking into because you dont know anyone but everyone at the Post Office Pub has made my husband very comfortable. He also told me that the kitchen is extremely clean and everything looks brand new. I dont know about anyone that might be reading this but to me hearing that the kitchen is that well taken care of makes me want to go there to eat all the time!!! I have been in some kitchens that are so gross that I wouldnt even touch anything because its covered in layers upon layers of grease and god knows what! It seems to me like the Post Office Pub is wonderful, a great family environment and I would highly highly recommend going there to anyone and everyone!

The atmosphere, decorations and service was great. But i was disgusted by what I ordered. I ordered the Harvest Ravioli, it was stated in the menu as being a "favorite" and having a maple syrup sauce. I was excited to try this plate because it seemed creative and I like a bit of sweetness in my food. When the plate arrived it looked and smelled as if Ravioli was drowned in syrup. It was completely inedible. Probably the most disgusting thing i have ever eaten, and I’m not a picky eater. I think the idea was good but there was no contrast, there was no saltyness to its sweetness. It was like having dessert. I was so repulsed that after eating maybe 2 of them i told the waiter to take the plate back to the kitchen because it was too sweet. He did not offer me anything else to eat and still charged us for the plate.

Weve been going to the Post Office Pub for the last 15 years and must sadly say that after our last two visits my family and I wont be back. On both occasions, the service was ridiculously slow and when the food finally arrived it was barely warm. Tonight, we arrived at 7:00 PM and didnt see our entrees until after 8. My prime rib showed up at room temperature and everyones fries had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp for at least 15 minutes. The waitress was pleasant, but not especially concerned, even with the dining room half empty. When youre talking over $100 for dinner for four not including drinks, you can expect a bit more. The real sad part of the story is that this place used to be great. I think theyre just coasting on their reputation at this point.

One of the waiters took forever to order our food and deliver it to us. I understand that this individual was tired and could be slow at times. This has been recently been happening multiple times on Wednesday nights during Stump Trivia with the group I go out to eat with. I just think there is not enough "good" waiters to care for us customers. On a good note I enjoy trivia even though half of the question I dont know what the answer is. I still enjoy learning new answers and just plain having fun with my family and friends.

I was terribly disgusted by the fact that they over-charged my credit card. I had left a $4 tip and forgot to take my receipt so they decided to forage my signature and add $4 more to the tip line. Totally not trustworthy. I called back and talked to them about it. They were nervous about getting caught in the act and made up several possible "scenarios" that could have been the cause of the mishap. They said they would refund me $8, but Im still waiting for that to happen.

My family and I would come to the post office pub about once a month till last year. We recently went and was suprised how bad the place got. The prime rib was mush, sides cold, the baked haddock was under cooked, cold and tasted like it was covered in red wine vinegar. It took the server ten minutes to come back to take the check even though we were the only patrons at the time and all had finished. All in all, if you like good food, dont go to the post office pub.

Sat at the bar. Service was good. Beer selection good. Food not so great. I had the Butternut Ravioli with maple cream sauce. Sauce was not good. Tasted more of a desert sauce it was far from a cream sauce way to sweet and over powered the entire dish. My husband had the Chicken Napoli sandwich. Average nothing special. If your looking for basic food this place will work. I know we wont be back.

The Post Office Pub had nothing to offer. Food was late, it took 6-8 minutes for a waitress to even approach our table. While the restaurant tries to present itself as an upscale pub/restaurant, the food is anything but upscale. Its lousy at best. I also saw the owner being rude to one of the waitresses which turned me off completely. The only good thing I can say is that it was clean.

Bavarian pretzel stick appetizer is great! Ive been going here since I was little and their recent menu updates have been good. I recently got ahi tuna tacos that were listed as a special, they were delicious. The chicken marsala is delicious as well. Service is usually pretty good and its a great place for kids. I still enjoy getting the "cookie monster" shake even as an adult.

Great atmosphere, fun crowd. Only problem is the bar is always loud due to the construction of the lofted ceilings. When a band is there it can be intolerable worth the echo and volume of the room. Sound sound absorbing material I believe would help. As for the food consistent, goodness with always being served worth a smile from the attentive staff.
