This place seems to mainly operate as a take away with only a few diners. There seems to be some communication issues between the (very friendly) woman who took our orders and the chef: he apparently doesnt speak English and she doesnt speak Mandarin. Consequently the concept of "appetizers" and "main" got lost and food turned up in a random stream. That said, the food was of an excellent standard from a wide menu. Portion sizes were very generous. Good food and good value. But with an element of surprise that we decided was endearing.

Excellent portion sizes. I had the Strange Flavored Chicken, a sumptuous blend of sweet and spicy. It was absolutely delicious and not too spicy. My husband had General Tsos chicken. He said it was very good. The owner was kind, friendly and courteous. We will definitely be back!!!

There are 4 Chinese restaurants in town. This is by far the best, assuming you are not looking for more pork fried rice and chicken wings. Very good crispy orange flavor beef, wontons in hot oil, dun dun noodle and others. Moo Shiu dishes are good. Worth a visit.

My wife and I love going here for lunch. The wonton soup is wonderful. We almost always get the beef and broccoli combo. And you must try there scallion pancakes. Portions are large. Biggest bang for the buck. Sue and her husband treat you like family.

Simple but tasty Chinese food. Wonton Soup is nothing fancy (no greens, shredded pork, etc.) but perhaps the tastiest weve found in the area. Portions were very generous and prices reasonable. We will be returning!

China garden is by far the hidden gem of Hudson. China Town in San Francisco is the only competition for China garden, that should speak volumes.
