Tried a Groupon, read numerous favorable online reviews and liked the video review by The Phantom but we must have caught you on a off day. ??? Came in 20 minutes after opening and 3 tables were in use, the other full size downstairs table by a girl updating the chalkboard and only offered the "bar stool table". No mention of upstairs seating and until more patrons arrived it was not in use. Tried the Calamari app and it was VERY well done -- some pieces to a crunchy potato chip like crispness and texture. The French dip was as advertised; THIN slices (2) of roast beef and a similarly thin slice of dill pickle on the side. Was glad that there was some as jus to dip it in. Fries were tasty but could have used some of the calamaris deep fryer time. My wifes onion soup was fine. Her sirloin tip wrap medium came out WELL DONE and she added a lot of salt and pepper to add taste. Was surprised when the bill came and soda refills are full price - did not notice that on the menu and no mention made when my wife asked for a refill. Or maybe they charge the same for water - thats what I ordered but was charged for two Cokes. Had the feel that some adult supervision is all that would be required to make the place as good as it looked on TV.

I actually really liked this place! The decor and outside is super nice, (even though it reminds me of wintertime in the mountains) service was pretty good and food was pretty good too. The only thing I wish were different was the fact that I was sitting upstairs and after having 2 glasses of wine, I had to walk down a very intimidating staircase (after 2 glasses), pushed my way through a crowd and arrived to the ladies room after like a minute or two to then realize that they only had a single use bathroom. So I sat and waited outside the door while the 2 ding dongs inside got finished with whatever they were doing (giggling and stuff). I dont know how they got away with having a place that size and only one stall?? Maybe there was another bathroom somewhere?? maybe not!

Service was horrific. Did I catch them on a bad day? Bar tender had to make up for the missing waitress. Empty glass throughout meal. Bartender did help so she was good. Onion soup lacking Sherry and Beef, onions not sauteed enough. Fries were not cooked had to have another order placed. The salmon wrap was good. No questions there. Waited 45 min after finishing before calculating what was owed and leaving cash. No check ever brought. 2 stars for bartender and salmon. Im a fair person. But one of the worst waitresses I have ever had. I believe in way over tipping. Even if the wait staff is having a bad day. Today was the first time I did not...

3.5/5 Atmosphere was pretty cool/great to be in. My girlfriend and I started with the buffalo chicken dip which had decent sized pieces of very moist chicken (huge plus to me). The dip was a solid 4/5 to me. Next up we both had the Base Lodge burger. Unfortunately it was overcooked. The actual taste of everything else though was pretty good. The bartender/waitress who waited on us was very accommodating regarding whether we wanted to listen to the game or otherwise. Even when the music that was playing wasnt so great, they changed it! Definitely would be willing to give it another go for sure.

Killer place. Wed been to the Tipsy Seagull and had a great time. Thought wed try this, the sister store on our way home from RI. Absolutely loved it! Sat at the bar. Wouldve loved to have been fireside, but great view of the whole place. Nice, diverse crowd of all ages. My wife had the stake tips and I scored the last piece (end cut) of brontosaurus, erm...I mean prime rib that was to DIE for! ($22 which I thought was a deal considering the portion size) Fantastic drinks served by an attentive bartender!!! Hip, ski lodge style not in the mountains! Well be back!

I have heard good things about this place so we decided to check it out...the hostess very freindly as soon as we walked in ...the bartender not so freindly just not personal at all..we started with the littlenecks that smelled like New Bedford at low tide...I couldnt even stomach the smell...So I drank mt beer and off we went...nice atmosphere great music...I will give it another shot maybe for a burger or something

One of my favorite places to go for food & drinks. Love the decor and cozy atmosphere. Our waitress, Nicole, was amazing last night & our food was delicious. Nicole was super attentive & had a great personality. She was tending bar and waiting on tables up & downstairs but managed to always make sure our drinks were full and that we were happy. Thank you for another wonderful night out! :)

Beautiful restaurant and great sounding menu but I got the calamari and it was over cooked and skimpy in portion. Aldo got the lobster and shrimp pizza and it was also bland and had barely any seafood on it.... Waiter was slow.

Great atmosphere, nothing like a roaring fire while you enjoy a nice beer from their wide selection of drafts on tap. When you step through the door you feel like youre in an alpine ski lodge!

Great intimate place to enjoy some good food & drinks! Plenty of off street parking! I like to come here before and after seeing a show at the Narrows. Definitely worth a shot!
