So many people have already complained how terrible the food are in the restaurant, well, because of the limited choices of Chinese restaurant, I still come here from time to time. Today, I notice they hire one new waiter (the only male Chinese waiter here), who was serving me tonight. He behaved very strangely in the beginning. Durning the conversation, he kept backing up and hard to focus. And he left when I was still talking! Finally after coming back, he had hard time communicating. Whatever I asked, he just kept saying "it is yummy, you get it"... Then he started to nag and complain. Ironically he was talking so broken English so I couldnt quite get him but only guess from his face. I was very nicely asking him to repeat his word, and all of sudden he snapped and screamed to me "you leave"!!!!!!! When I complained this to the front desk (manager was not here at this time), he passes by and repeated that again "you go home, not in the restaurant". I am a medical scientists and have a feeling this guy serving customers in the restaurant doesnt have a stable mental condition. When the manager came he only blamed the waiter but no further action was taken. Right after manager took off, this waiter was talking out loud "fire me fire me".... Not knowing why this restaurant would hire a person with potential mental issue but is definitely not safe to eat there. I will definitely not go there with my friends anymore, but also strongly suggest customers not going there too, at least for now before this waiter is leaving - I am really concerned for his mental issue and worried he may do something to the food sitting in the kitchen. (During the waiting, the other customers sitting next me also expressed their concern too).

Good maybe starting the night but not at all where Id want to spend it. Only went up the second floor for a closed event so I cant really comment on the restaurant food. They did serve free appetizers of chicken fingers, fried wantons, and what I can only describe as fried shrimp sticks. All there were just awful and lacked any redeeming qualities to them. Flavorless and questionable of origin, though the chicken fingers were definitely the best of the worst. The bar/club area is on the smaller side though is not without a plethora of surfaces and seating. Im going to guess that they normally move tables out of the way for dancing but they didnt when I went there. Also, a friend and I werent officially on the guest list and the bouncer asked us to pay fifteen dollars each for unlimited PBR until 9pm. Even the bouncer seemed a big ashamed to be asking for so much and ultimately let us each in for just a $1. I think the only saving grace of the night was the scorpion bowls. Strong and delicious. Id split one with friends anytime.

We had a terrible experience, this place does not even deserve one star! We went in famished, hoping to eat noodle soup. Right when we entered my mom felt that something was wrong. It was lunchtime but the restrauant was empty , the waitresses absent- mindely ushered us to a table. We asked a waitress kindely why the restaurant was empty and she accused us of robbing her of her lunchtime, she spoke to us in a very condescending tone. We brushed it off because we were so hungry. We decided to ask another waitress where in the menu we could find noodle soups, she became very irritated and kept sighing. She was very very rude to us. We were just asking her a QUESTION! So we confronted about her attitude and she got very angry and defensive. She stormed inside, her behavior was very unprofessional and inappropriate esspecially in front of costumers. We immediately stood up to leave and she just stood by the doorway rolling her eyes. Dont come to this place, service is absolutely terrible.

Oh wow, I would reccomend never going here! Had a horrible experience, called to place my order got hung up on by this lady, simply because according to her I take to long to decide what I want. WTH!! How absolutely rude and disrespectful. After arriving there the same lady is at the register who hung up on me, started mumbling who knows what in chinese. Following this she started ranting on about you take to long to decide what you want. Unbelievable, I chose not to respond. Left with my food got home to discover the rice was old and had this smell. On top of that there was excessive oil on top of my shrimp with lobster sauce. What a waste of my time and money. Nobody deserves to be treated like this, that lady seriously need many courses in Excellent Customer Service. This place probably needs frequent visits from the FDA as well. Totally disgusting, what a turn off. Never again!

This place is OK, but it really depends on what you order. Its kind of a hit or miss. My husband got a tasty dish with lots of vegetables, meat and sauce. I on the other hand ordered a combination plate (means the rice is included on the plate as a full dish instead of ordering rice as a side dish) called fried pork with sweet and sour sauce. The pork was deep fried (menu didnt specify this, but that is fine by me), but it was hardly any vegetables!! I got two pieces of green paprika and a few pieces of (nearly uncooked) onion. This was a disappointment to me, but as I said, my husband was happy with his dish.

The food is decent, but I did not have good experience of the service there. Even before we cashing our dishes, the waitress asked for tips directly and commanded we must give tips. Actually, I planned to tip them at the beginning, but that willingness was gone right after they commanded us for tip (including to the amount of tips). I have no problems with tipping. But tipping should be totally up to the customers. As a customer, I dont want to be reminded and commanded by the waitress/waiter. Tipping by forcing really changes the meaning of tipping.

Do people ever come here not drunk? Just wondering...anyway, $12 to go to the 3rd floor. Such a random amount. We didnt go because we just needed food. The crab rangoon seemed like they were 90% cream cheese, which I dont have a problem with. Delicious. We saw the container moving down the table and clawed it back. Also got the spring rolls, which could have had their filling chopped more, and the shrimp fried rice which was great.

Oh, my. There are many other brilliant restaurants in this neighborhood, so there is no need to eat here. The jaozi is the worst I have had in my life: the skin was thick and doughy and green for some reason. My Szechwan broccoli and fried tofu was greasy and sweetish; the broccoli was undercooked. Our table and those around us were visibly greasy and unwashed, and the service was quite "meh." I recommend eating elsewhere.

The Hong Kong is an institution, and by that I mean, kind of an acquired taste. If you enjoy drunken Harvard students, packed dance floors, sticky tables and dangerously large portions of spiked punch, the third floorll be your jam. Downstairs is far more suited to larger groups and families -- I hear the food is good, but I always come for the scorpion bowls because sharing is caring.

As a place it is nice, but the service was a nightmare! People that charged you for entrance on the second floor did not know what it means to be first a human, second an employee! The lady who was charging us, a blonde lady, was exceptionally rude and it shocks me that she actually works with people. Her service was terrible and it is because of her why we would not go back.
