Usually they are wonderful but Im really disappointed in my recent visit. I went with 5 other people- we all had separate checks, all of us left a good tip. The waiter then came back to our table and singled me out specifically and told me that for all the people at my table it is illegal for me to leave the tip that I did and I needed to leave at least 17%. Illegal? Im sure 20% is what most people usually tip which would have been 10.75$ of the 43$ bill. I had docked my credit card transaction to an even 45$ (which was a 2$ tip on card) and gave him a 10$ bill making a 12$ tip in total which is a bit above 27% just to be told I had to change my credit slip, thats bizarre in my opinion. It would have been nice to get my 10$ bill back since I was told to change the credit slip to reflect the 10$(totaling in 12$) but youre welcome for the additional 10$ (totaling in a 22$ tip) on top of what everyone else I was with had given for their own checks (which was 20% and under by the way). A "thank you" would have been nice, or maybe even a "have a nice night" on the way out but nothing was ever said. I will request a different server next time Im there for sure.

Food is good but service is just okay. Whatever you do, do not order online. I tried ordering online, email receipt said 25 minutes. 40 minutes later I called and they didnt have my order, said it would be 35 minutes to place order. I said no thanks, I already tried ordering 40 minutes ago and do not want to wait another 35 minutes, apparently there was internet issues (understandable). we hung up but they called minutes later saying they can have my order to me within 15 mins and will give us a discount for the trouble. I was going to say no but figured with the discount what is another 15 mins. The food came and they charged us over $10 more than the regular receipt - rather than a discount on my order they decided to add extra food and charge us for it. If you order delivery, please check to see that they give you and charge you only what you order and not add extra food to your order, also I wouldnt suggest using their online services, unless you call right after to make sure they got the order.

4th of July weekend for dinner: My wife and I visited for about an hour. Food was warm, huge portions, and freshly made. The acoustics in the restaurant were a bit loud. Plenty of food and we took back the extra for dinners later in the week. The service was a little slow but not too bad. Did not try the sushi nor the cocktails but have seen plenty of others at the other tables and booths getting both. Price was about right - best in Salem for Chinese food.

May is one of the owners and the hardest worker at Yang Ming in Salem, NH. Tonight she is working the sushi bar because she gave the regular chef the night off to take care of personal matters. Of course, she is one of the few people who knows every station at the restaurant. In general, the staff at Yang Ming is one of the best Ive experienced and May ensures the experience is exceptional every time. Do yourself a favor...eat and drink at Yang Ming.

Had high hopes for this place based on reviews. I cant speak for the dine in part but the delivery was awful. We ordered: Pork fried rice: too chewy and smelt funny Chicken fingers: had bits of bones Crab Rangoon: was actually pretty good Chicken Lo mein: Under cooked or old. The chicken was slimy and the rest of the noodles tasted just horrible. The whole order just didnt seem fresh, and for $40 I expected better quality.

This was an enjoyable experience. Its been a long time since I actually went into a Chinese restaurant. (Mostly do the take out thing) The place was clean, the booths along the wall were comfortable and a nice place to sit. Food was very good. The waiter was attentive and had a great sense of humor. Ill go again.

For the area this is the best place to get Chinese food. We also get a lot of sushi here. They are very friendly and get to know their regulars. The service is always good and attentive. The drinks are good too. I get the sashimi lunch often and it is always fresh.

My buddy introduced me to this place and they rock! Amazing General Gaos chicken, sushi, crab ragoon and everything else! I have ordered so many times and have not had one issue with any of my orders. Love the service! Love the food! Highly recommend it!

Drinks are good. Food is good. Sushi, Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup good, Chinese food OK - kind of heavy. Fox brainwashing "news" on at bar, a huge turn off though, ruins the entire experience.
