Hit-or-miss bar I went to a few times because it was right next to my hotel. They have a large selection of beers and liquors, and the people behind the bar are generally nice, but the food and table service were underwhelming. There were a couple servers that just seemed like they were in a foul mood or were just bad at serving. The chicken strips were boring and obviously out of a bag while the panko crusted hot dog was just a massive miss for me (it looked like it was supposed to be eaten like a hot dog or wrap, but I was unable to eat it without fork & knife, way too awkward). The servings were large and could easily feed two people which sucked for someone going back to a hotel room with no fridge. I felt the price was a little more than what was delivered.

A favorite of mine. An outstanding selection of beer. A decent wine list. The curry here is tasty; a burst of flavor. The pub pretzels are soft inside, with a nice salt speckled snap on the outside. The fish n chips -the fish has the right amount of batter - flaky - yummy, the chips are hot with a nice bite. The burger is satisfying! Great bar. I love sitting behind the taps. I get the best service there and it feels like a booth at the bar!

Lame food, expensive, okish atmosphere. We are British and had high hopes, I asked on arrival if there was anyone British working there, no there wasnt. Hubby had the roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, he said it was weird and nothing like you would get in the UK, also not overly hot. I had veggie burger with salad, allegedly house made burger was lukewarm and bland, salad disappointing, mostly lettuce. Wouldnt eat here again.

The best trivia in Boston is worth a litrtle indigestion. A lot of the food is fried amd/or was previously frozen but there is some good stuff on the menu too. Sometimes the daily soups are quite good, and the salads are very fresh. I would recommend the Thai chicken salad as an example, though I myself like the club sandwiches. The waitstaff is excellent in general and our waitress, Elena, is the best.

Great place, went for some drinks and apps one night. not really busy, but service was right. very friendly bar staff. my phone was dead, and the bar tender even charged it for me while i ate. the Nachos are really great. The set up on the bar is pretty cool, they offer extra wide drink rails in the middle of room with stools so everyone can gather around. I will be going back again sometime soon!

Must have had a bad day as it was not busy and service painfully slow. Breakfast - waiting seated over 30 minutes and no coffee. We were going to leave. Should have. Over easy must have turned to haRd due to slow service and exceptionally hot plates. Sausage overcooked too as was probably sitting under heat lamp. Nice atmosphere though. Should probably stick to pub business.

Slowly becoming a regular here, they have a good variety of drinks and food. Havent been disappointed by the food here. Though service may be slow at times, been here at different times with different levels of crowd here, seems to be a popular spot for people in the area as it is never empty. Id recommend getting the chicken fingers here.

The burger was cooked to my wishes, but still tasted like a pink sponge. Onion rings were poorly battered and WAY too damn expensive for the +$2.50 substitution charge. My club soda was flat and our waitress was an absentee for the most part. Awful, would not recommend.

Went there for a paint nite event. The food was good, though on the slower side (it may have been because we were in the basement level of the restaurant). They set up the room very nicely for painting and had wait staff there to take orders.

Ive been here several times for work lunches. The food is better than I expected given the slightly dingy bar atmosphere. The most recent time I went, I got the steak salad and my coworker got the curry and both were excellent. Good service.

It was terrible service. My wife and I were seated and we sat there for 15 minutes with no one coming up to take our order. Had to leave since we were pressed for time. Never again. I will be posting about this experience everyday.

Went there for a happy hour on a Thursday, it seemed empty. They were out of most of the beers especially the IPAs. Service was underwhelming, probably wont be back. Its like the British Beer Company but with a smaller menu.

Good ambiance, good food. The quantity is not much but the quality is good. I dont drink so not sure of the bar or drinks they have there. It is usually filled with corporate crowd from the surrounding offices.

Yes im the dork who ordered a grilled salmon and veggies at an Irish pub in Boston and isnt drinking beer. Whoa is me. But all is not lost. This pub has trivia night and loads of great craft beer on draft.

Not the best food in the world, but a great casual spot for lunch/after work drinks in the Financial District. I had the curry flatbread which was smaller in size but pretty tasty nonetheless.

The food and beer is great. The atmosphere is on point as well. However, the service is severely lacking. I come here very often (almostly every week) but it is hard to ignore the slow service.

Great selection of drinks - I had blueberry pear cider and it was delicious! Great service, didnt really like the food though. We ordered nacho plate and it was mostly onion and black olives.

This is an English themed bar attached to the Club Quarters hotel. It has a picture of Maggie Thatcher on the wall. Their poutine is good, they have English beer and will show soccer.

Buffalo wings awful, chicken quesadillas good, but not enough chicken, steak tips not worth the cost (only gave about 8 small pieces) for $15.00! We did enjoy the karaoke!

A personal favorite. I go here every time I come to Boston for business. It always seems like a higher class atmosphere, but not really a big deal. Food is wonderful.

Loud contemporary pop music, terrible service. Had to ask for the check, waiter didnt come back to pick up the credit card, my wife forced me to leave a tip.

Pretty solid pub. More traditionally English than most. Got some good bitters on tap and an affordable menu of English and American classics. Good service.

Sat for 15 minutes with no service during a very quiet lunch time. Staff were sat around talking. Decided to leave as we were in a rush, never again.

Got the eggs benedict and it was very good. A bit small for the cost and not much on the side. Potatoes and fruit werent the greatest.
