Hidden jewel and quite the find! Surprisingly great bar and grill. Dont judge by location, locale or general appearance, you will miss out on some seriously delicious food. Amicable staff, owner (Jim) will greet customers frequently, as he is normally on site. Staff is friendly and professional. Menu has its fixed options, but specials bring an interesting and savory twist to the mainstay options. Dont expect "bar" food quality or options. Yes, they do have the usual fare, but try their burgers, cheesesteaks and chicken options. Make sure you also try their specials, you will be glad you did! Of course being a bar, the beer is always cold, good selection... varied spirits and mixed drinks. Have tried a few of the mixed drinks, and have to say that was not disappointed either!

October 2016 I have visited Babes once a week for the past few years. Up until about 6 months ago I would have given this bar 4 stars. Going down hill fast, one of the two toilets has not been fixed in months. Use to be different food specials now it never changes much at all. Owner just does not seem to care anymore. Food is still very good for bar food, actually better than one would expect. Nothing fancy and thats fine with me but toilet not fixed for months.... REALLY!

Babes Boys tavern was the ONLY establishment that had the sense to open early (0900) when the Landover Redskins played in London. The overseas time difference caused a 0930am kickoff. Even the BIG-time sports venues were closed until 11 or noon :-( Special thanks to Lea who performed the opening the morning after she CLOSED !

Good atmosphere here. Really has a friendly "Cheers" vibe. Met a nice (stranger) friend here, and they have live music on Thursday nights. I got to meet the owner who takes a lot of pride in his place. The bartenders take a lot of care to remember first names and address people like old friends. Will come back again!

I have enjoyed Babes Boys from day one. The food is very good. The staff is friendly. A great place to watch the game or just meet nice folks. I would recommend this tavern to anyone visiting Waldorf that would like a safe friendly place to have a good meal while watching a game on one of the many TVs.

Shrimp. Anyway they make it will be very solid. Good portions, friendly wait staff, home town not pretentious, great bar. They are not all cops in there BTW. The owners Dad was a cop but its not a place where you would feel "profiled" by some cop... not in any way. Very cool peeps and great food.
