Worst customer service ever! The owner or manager was very power hungry! We had a table of 13, 8 of which were kids ages 11- 9 months ! Had a family emergency after only ordering drinks told the waiter we had to leave and he said we didnt have to pay for the drinks as we barely drank any of it. We leave and a raging employee who claimed to own the restaurant yelled at us accross the parking lot saying they dont give free drinks out! We proceed to turn around to go back and pay but she wants confrontation! She declined payment until the police arrive so we wait longer although we are pressed for time to pay the tab of $21.79! The police get there and she tries to plead her case about us stealing which doesnt work because we are clearly there to pay the tab. We pay the tab and then she refuses to give us the drinks we paid for saying we can go get them ourselves because if she has to get them shes gonna charge us again! So the officer goes back inside the restaurant to get the drinks we paid for. In the end I was charged $21.79 for piss poor service! I didnt even taste the food but because she was so pressed for that $20 I know they cant be doing great as a business! Wish I could give negative stars

Visited with my husband and my parents and had a wonderful lunch! The atmosphere feels very upscale but not uppity at all. Its somewhere comfortable and warm. Theres an amazing beer, wine, cocktail, and whiskey selection including flights of beer or bourbon, I mean, you cant go wrong with that. My husband and my parents had sandwiches (french dip, cubano, and tuscan grilled chicken. They all loved their meals and they came with the most delicious fries. They were thick, almost more like wedges of the potato beautifully seasoned and served with their own ketchup, which was also delicious. I had the BBQ chicken pizza, and it was very delicious. I ate half of it and took the rest home with me. The service was wonderful and our water glasses were never dry. The prices are also very fair for the exemplary food and service we received. We will absolutely be returning to check out their many daily specials as well as happy hour. We are glad to see a unique, and extremely quality restaurant that would easily fit in in DC down here in Southern Maryland. Its a wonderful addition to our community. Make this a definite visit if you enjoy great food, great service, and great drinks.

Good food! I ordered the file minion Imperial medium which was in my opinion overpriced at $33.+ was kinda High! The Crab Meat was excelent but you needed a magnifying a glass to see the small portion you get. The steak came out great but you have to bring a magnifying glass to see the filet, itself !!!!!! The garlic potatoes were good but very small portions, the sauce was good.but not that great, the asparagus, excelent, Caesar dressing Sucks!, the recipe needs a lot of work!!!! Maybe they should just pick a hi end brand, rather than trying to create there own!!!!! My bros ordered double bone pork chop special which they claimed it was excelent! The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because of my friends having a 5 star experience. They could care less to take the time to rate there food. I Just wanted the owners of this Resturaunt to be aware that I enjoyed my visit, but would like to see some improvements so I may want to return more often. The wait staff was Excelent

Ive been here twice and my purpose was the pizza! My first visit we go Da Meatballs appetizer and it was delicious. Our pizzas were the Gannon and the Saltimbocca. Both were good wood fired pizzas, but of the two, the Gannon was better. For dessert, we got the apple crisp, but that was just ok - I wouldnt get it again. The second time there, we got the Crab Avocacdo Stack for our app. Everything was fresh, but there wasnt much flavor. Our pizzas for round two were the Korean Pork and Salumi. Both were a hit with us. With the wood-fired oven focus, this place definitely seems geared towards their pizzas and drinks, but I was pregnant both times I visited. I like their specialty pizzas and Ill be back to try the rest and get some drinks!

The prime rib ordered by 3 of 4 people at our table was tough, dry, and had a lot of fat on it. We ordered them cooked medium rare and medium, so the dryness was not the result of overcooking. It was very disappointing. In addition, even the waitress could not determine which was the larger portion prime rib and which was the smaller cut. They all looked the same thickness and size. The 4th person in our party ordered the Ciopino, which came with 2 pieces of garlic toast. He requested 2 more pieces of toast and was charged a dollar for it. Low class indeed. I informed the manager and he did nothing to correct any of this. We will not be returning there.

After a long day of traveling from the west coast my family and I were looking for some decent food without waiting too long for it. We were nicely greeted and seated almost immediately. My aunt walks with a cane and the wait staff was very patient showing us to our table. We had an Asian-American waitress (I forget her name, and the reason for my description). She was very pleasant and recovered nicely when a co-worker obviously having a bad day helped her serve our meals. The food was prepared to our liking and came out hot. The price point for the quality of food was 4 stars but the friendly waitress is what earned the Brick Wood Bistro its 5th star.

Meh. Nice live music with Dylan Galvin. Great selection of beers on tap. Menu selection was pretty good, modern, updcale. Bar tenders are pretty unattentive, unfriendly, and just following protocol.... alot of waiting around when you first sit down. No one asked how my food was, and it was disappointing... great selection of pizzas, but they all are the same, because they skimp on the specialty ingredients... e.g., a couple of tiny pieces of eggplant on The Jordy pizza, it was cold, and the cheese was very "institutional", i.e., very salty and unfresh. And yes, it is all a bit pricey considering. The place seems to be a bit full of itself...

Service was good, but they still need to shake out a few of the new business hiccups. Pizza margharita was bland to the point of flavorless. Mushroom pizza with caramelized onions was tasty but the crust was a little on the raw side. Street corn was also not very interesting, and the 5 servers we asked could not identify the buttery blob or the other side seasonings when asked. I think the servers need to be shown whats on the menu a bit more clearly. Truffle fries had very little (if any) truffle oil Salad, on the other hand, was drenched in dressing... we should have asked for it on the side.

We were staying at the hotel across the street and the front desk receptionist highly recommended, we are glad she did! Food was amazing here. My boyfriend got the Maryland Crab Pizza- which is in simple words... DELISH! and very filling. I had the Gouda Laughing Burger and everything about it was good, the fries were different but still very good. Our waitress was super nice and helpful. If in the area again, I would definitely come back!
