I have been here. Yes, there are 2 friendly staff within this whole establishment. The first time I took my cousin there for dinner after her first homecoming dance, our food was in no way edible and the server didnt come back for 25 minutes after we got our food. All shell in crab dip, and all tenders were filled with unchewables. Plus no refills the whole sitting . The next time it was two friends and I all there for a birthday lunch. First off our server turned to the manager serving us half way through which was wrong. But we ordered, I started off with the I believe eastern shore Mac N cheese as the time before last it was bad but this time my friends and I just happened to get good poisoning. I had to miss work and spent almost $75 dollars on a meal that got us all sick. I called to see if it was possible to get my money back which was very difficult to get a hold of anyone. Finally I talked to someone and his response was " Ill have to talk to my regional manager before we even consider giving you near that amount back." Which I found very rude. I went in (a night they had told me to to get a refund) I stood at the podium waiting for about 15-20 minutes being completely ignored-knowing THE STAFF SAW ME- I left. The next day i went in only to be addressed by the regional manager as if he was clueless to the situation. He finally stopped the act once I began to get mad and mentioned all of our previous conversations on the phone. At that point he handed me back $50 when a paid near $75 with a rude look on his face. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Food is NOT EDIBLE and staff is UNBEARABLE.

Ive been to this location five or more times now. This is the worst Greene Turtle Ive been to. Multiple times I have been there, there is no hostess to greet me at the door. Even though the restaurant is empty, it takes ten minutes to get seated. Ive also had a very pleasant experience with the staff. They are kind. Food orders here consistently take at least 25 minutes to get out of the kitchen even when the restaurant is empty. Ive waited more than 40 minutes for my food. My most recent visit was the most disappointing of all. Normally Greene Turtle has excellent fish and chips. They make a big deal about battering the stuff fresh. What I received was about the size of 1.5 tilapia filets (though I believe theyre supposed to be cod) served with an old, crusty lemon that had been sitting for a long time. The pieces of fish were barely bigger than the French fries. Our appetizer of pretzel sticks were luke warm (which is surprising because ever other time Ive ordered them, they are extremely hot). They also just didnt seem to be given the same detail as other Greene Turtles. We had to ask for the beer cheese that was supposed to be served with the pretzels, and when it came it clearly had a crust from sitting in the plastic cup for a long time. It seems as though the kitchen as just given up at this location. I really hope this location can make some improvements because I really like this chain. They normally deliver good quality food. I still go here about every 1-2 months, and I look forward to updating this review when they make some improvements.

I am not sure this happen because I went there late at night (10:30) for dinner on a weekday, but I was appalled by the quality of the food. I ordered a simple medium well bacon cheese burger. It took 35 minutes for them to prepare and there werent many guestsin the restaurant. The Burger was charcoal-ed, the buns was drenched in fat and looked like somebody squeezed it with his hand, the melted cheese on top was disgusting covering about 1/3 of the top of the Burger, Bacon, lettuce and tomato was MIA. The Burger was returned back to the kitchen because the waitress insisted. They brought another Burger which was still below expectations and looked like a cheap frozen Burger from grocery store.

Parking was easy and the restaurant area was nice and open. I went there for drinks and lunch with a friend of mine. Our server couldnt remember a thing we said, and would get lost in her own thoughts half way through taking our order or asking us questions. She tried to give us our check when we were still clearly chatting and having drinks, which we then told her we werent leaving yet. She stopped by every 5-10 minutes from then until we left to check on us, even though we still had a recently refilled beer. We were there at an off-hour, so there was no need to clear the table. We felt rushed and annoyed that she just kept coming back over and over again.

Consistently slow service, whether youre at bar, table in bar area, or a table in main dining. Doesnt seem to matter what time of day or day of week we try it. Even the simplest apps like pretzel sticks took over 15 mins today and it wasnt busy. Once we got them it was clear they had sat in the window for awhile, despite servers standing around everywhere looking bored. Fries luke warm. We have been here several times because we live close by and hoped it would improve if we sat in different areas, but weve given it our last try. We wont be back.

I was, literally, about to walk out the door when I saw that they didnt have my game on (NBA) but I decided to stay anyway, and Im glad I did! Even though I sat in a less-populated section, the manager and staff took really good care of me. Actually, the manager himself saw to it that I got my drink and food order started, the waitress (though she had to extend her coverage because of me) was actually, really attentive and the best part: they found me a TV so I could watch my game. Thats customer service par excellance!

We ate here this evening. Service was good however the food was horrible. We ordered burgers. Our meal took over 30 minutes to come out, for burgers and fries. Mine was burnt (i asked for medium, which is a warm pink center) and came with jalapenos, even after I request no jalapenos. The fries were cold and had no taste. The manage was very apologetic and tried to make our meal right. But still what a disappointment. I wont eat there again.

Weirdest thing. Bartender did not take my order. She was nice enough. Brought the menu I asked for and a glass of water. I read the menu and then sat there and read a few articles on my phone waiting for her to come by. Finally she did stand in front of me and have a conversation with the woman a couple of stools over. But did not acknowledge me. As I got up to leave she said have a good night. That was it. Going somewhere else now to eat.

Theres only a handful of bars in Pasadena you can go to without feeling like somebody could come up and rob you at any given time, and Greene Turtle is one of them. The service is always good, they have an average selection of beer and drinks, and the food always comes out hot. I love going to this place on a weeknight after work to grab a beer. Great place!
