Horrible service enhanced by creepy manager: We had ordered chicken korma and it was not chicken korma it seem like a recipe of their own "just added chicken cubes in a weird creamy sauce". I have eaten at many places around the world and the USA and this must be the worst of the lot. If you sit at table the service is agonizingly slow. And of course it will be slow when there is only a guy serving 5 tables at once. The manager babu sounds seeming-lessly retarded who once tried to add up addition cost to my delivery while his menu say free delivery. Lets take a look at the interior, it always smell like storage room. Room temperature dont even wana talk about it, my advice dont go there on a humid day, and its also useless to complain the waiters about the temperature they have a arrogant reply ready "our cooling system doesnt work". and the manager is not responsive for feedback. When we complained him about the temperature gently replied us it will be taken care off but the nothing was done plus he dint show to the floor till we leave. clearly leaves the little story that waiters were taught to lie about the cooling system. I strictly do not recommend this place if you want good Indian food. There are much better and cheaper places. The food out here is sky high in terms of cost and its not worth it for the quality you get. I think that the horrible experience we had here was unique then anywhere else. Some advice for the manager: please do some restaurant management courses and high quality cooking classes and invest some money to run this restaurant so that it runs professionally . if your restaurant sucks that is because your being cheap and your self you arent well trained.

I just hated the management. The restaurant was so hot the servers were sweating still the cooler wasnt turned on. The service by the server was very good so I tipped him big but later saw the owner putting the tip in a so called tip jar. The food was disgustingly horrible. The napkins stink, as if they were never washed. The stain of the food from the silverware were never washed. The so called Naan bread is not a bread but bricks to make buildings. I tried one and had bad stomach for 3 days. The chicken feels like raw and the salmon is completely fried and dried up. The so called lobster dish is fake. The management guy named Rahman buys the lobster skin and fills it up with chicken meat. This place is a crap. And the worst part is that the food feels like it was prepared days before and when ordered they just heated it up. I feel bad for the waiter. and would suggest all of you that if you want to spend your money on some piece of crap this place is best. After-all they sell is crap. I am never coming back to this place. The other Indian Restaurant called the Rangoli is very good. Atleast they server as many items in the buffet as they said, not like the Kitchen of India, said 27 items in the buffet and servers only 6 to 7 items. I tell you its all crap and I HATED IT like HELL.

A friend suggest Mount Everest Restaurant as a great Indian/Nepalese restaurant in Baltimore. When I searched for it on Google Maps, one location showed up on Joppa Road in Parkville....WELL...that is not Mount Everest Restaurant (I know, I went there). It is Kitchen of India!!!! Completely different restaurant! I reported this problem to Google but it seems they are slow-going in fixing the problem. Mount Everest Restaurant is actually on Belair Road in 21236. Ive been to both restaurants and Mount Everest is my favorite. Kitchen of India was not up to my standards. I had the Chicken Vindaloo and to me the chicken had absolutely no taste. And there was not much parking available in the shopping center.

Just so this review isnt just disregarded as ranting by an upset customer. The service is just indifferent, so absolutely nothing to comment there. Is it bad ? It is, if you expect any staff to give a flying hoot should you need anything while dining. I do not believe in one star reviews myself but this place earned it with the pathetic excuse for food they serve. I have been here twice, the first time I assumed they were having a bad cook day. After the second time, I am convinced they just cant cook. I am surprised that anyone would consider stepping into this place, I would rather lick paint off the walls and be more content than eat their food.

Food was good - very flavorful. Had a variety of dishes, and overall, we were quite pleased with the quality of the food. Had some Naan, a saag dish, as well as a curry dish, and everything was good. If you are looking for flavorful food, they have good food. Ambiance is a little lacking - its nothing fancy and decorations are simplistic. But for the price, the portions seemed a little small. I would not rate this as a good value kind of place. Overall, its a decent little restaurant - if you are in the area and you enjoy Indian food, Id recommend it.

Food was so-so. Table cloth was dirty (they put place mats and flowers over the dirty spots to try and hide it!). Service was HORRIBLE!!! Took 45 minutes for food to come out (chicken tika masala). Phone started ringing, no one answered it, it rang 30+ times and they finally hung up but then called back and it rang and rang again, then they hung up and called back -- this went on for 15 minutes all the time staff just ignoring it and continuing to wander around. Water glass never filled, never asked if I wanted a refill on my coke. Will NEVER go back.

Came in on a weekday; food took a while to come out despite only my guest and myself eating. Nonetheless, the food that did come was worth the wait. The food was good, wholesome, and filling. I actually like my food mild so I enjoyed my experience, and there are spicier items on the menu for those who crave more heat on their dish. The service was friendly, although slow. Table set-up was fine and clean, surrounding interior design was so-so. Despite the drawbacks, I enjoy the charm of this family business.

I love this Resturaunt the owner is very nice and the servers are great. The vegetarian choices are awesome and the paneer is super. My son orders the Chiken tikka Masala and paneer pakora it is his favorite. The lamb and goat dishes have large portions with plenty of basamati rice. They also have a great variety and selection along with many Bangladeshi meals. My wife is a Celiac and has no problem eating glutin free here. Kid friendly and not expensive. This is a great place to eat!

When we first entered this restaurant we all said "Uh oh". We were the only customers in the place at dinner time on a Wednesday night. We stayed anyway because we were hungry and the smell of curry filled the air. So glad we did! Although the appetizers didnt please (pastry stuffed with potatoes), the main dishes sure did. My wife had the Chicken Tikka Masala and I had the Curry Lamb. Both nice portions served with big bowls of basmati rice. We will definitely stop by again.
