I have been here a couple of times now and I have to say Im not sure if the other people writing these reviews are eating at the same place! The atmosphere is casual and fun. If you end up sitting at a table with empty seats its likely that someone will ask to join you. The food is fresh and well prepared. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The managers and owners presence is always known in the dining room and they are obviously concerned that you are having a good experience. As far as the prices I would say they are fair especially considering the fluctuations in the market prices for seafood.

Excellent service, just barely edible food. I think we didnt get food poisoning because its all just frozen, maybe even prepared by Sysco, and then heated up. Really not good value for the money. Did not taste very good, all the deep fried things were just drowned in oil, as if it were fried at too low a temperature. The rice pilaf seemed like it was straight out of a box mix, dehydrated vegetables and all. Macaroni and cheese tasted like salty nothing. Its too bad, because all the staff we interacted with were lovely. Oh well. Do not recommend.

I think this place is a gem! Staff is very friendly and it is super clean. Hush puppies are close to the best I have ever had and the scallops are pretty good as well...good enough to order each time. In-Laws loved their food when we last went and the only disappointment was my wifes Rockfish that came with her broiled platter...was better last time according to her. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a nice, clean and quaint local place to enjoy some pretty darn good seafood. Havent had the crabs there but thats next.

We live in Charles County but the drive was well worth. Big portions great food especially the hushpuppies. Wait staff was professional and sincere and really paid attention to every geust. We seen the managers on the floor many times through our stay and they made sure that if there is anything we needed we had it. Our waitress name was Jan and she was funny, poliete, and made sure to give us and her other tables equal attention. I would recommend this place if ure looking for great food, great staff and easy location to get to

Great Food! Their onion rings and Steak an Cheese are absolutely amazing. The Art Work Cherie Leonard that is hung in their is stunning. Next time you walk in, not only enjoy the food, but look at the beautiful art. Its made of tile, its beyond creative. I wish I had your her contact number, I want a piece! 5 Star place, 5 Star food, 5 Star service, and 5 Star environment.

Have been here a few times - casual atmosphere-- some of the best crab soup I have ever had. Have not had anything that I didnt like here - service has been good on my visits and the menu selection is very good. Need to think about paving the parking lot - but other than that very nice place for a casual seafood (with other non-seafood selections) dinner.

The wait staff was good but unfortunately it took an hour to get our food even though it was not crowded. and anyone who has kids knows how painful it can be to wait that long in a restaurant, and i had 3 with me. once we got the food my fried oysters were cold and my daughters mac n cheese looked like it was kraft mac n cheese. it was very disappointing

Menu offers great selection of seafood and other options. Crab truffles with remoulade sauce are a nice start to a meal. Entrees are of decent size and quite tasty, priced reasonably but non-fried food could be cooked better (e.g. more seasoning.) Waitstaff and hostesses were extremely pleasant and welcoming.

Order the "jumbo lump" crab cake. Not even close. Not even lump. Even the waitress agreed. Asked for the owner. I was told that it was jumbo lump and I was calling him a liar. Never had an experience like that from an owner. No words. Never ever will go back. Buyer be ware.

Staff was very nice and attentive. Tried the shrimp scampy its suppose to be creamy it was soupy and swimming in butter. Although the shrimp tasted good sauce and noodles had little flavor.
