The Owner of this Shop was incredibly RUDE, after we arrived around 6:30 to paint with my Family, the girl at the counter said she was new; she was helpful and helped 3 of us with finding Pottery. I myself was interested I painting the wood upfront and asked her about it, she told me it was $30 and found the stencil and so I started painting. After an hour and a half the owner comes to our table and says so rudely umm what are you doing, I said Im painting what do you mean? She said your doing this all wrong and wanted to take the damn wood I worked on for an hourand half! Then tell me that it was double the price! Anyone who paints knows there is no "right" or "wrong" way, its ART! So I gave her the wood and told her how rude she was and that we would never be back! Ive been coming here for several years and this will be my last! There are plenty of other pottery shops that would love my $$! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

I greatly enjoyed the afternoon I spent painting a mug here a number of weeks ago. The tour before we painted was short and sweet, but gave me all the information I needed. I also got some inspiration for what I wanted to paint on my mug from the samples that are on the wall. My pottery was ready when they said it would be and I was quite happy with my final product. My only word of warning is that it’s pretty expensive. Even though I would have enjoyed having one of the coffees they offered, I just couldn’t bring myself to order one given the money I’d already shelled out for the piece I was painting. However, the prices they list are all inclusive which is appreciated. Overall, the pottery stop is a wonderful place to spend a leisurely afternoon, but I’ll admit I won’t be there often because it’s so pricey.

Ive been to a few of the local pottery shops in the area just trying to figure out which one I like best. The Pottery Shop is probably by far my favorite. They host tons of events, are very friendly and supportive when your in shop, and just all around good people. I recommend this shop if your looking to see which shop in Anne Arundel County is right for you! Ive been to 2 other shops, this was my third. Both the other shops offered a decent amount of pieces to choose from but the shelving for them took up most of the space. You wont find that here. That is one of the reasons I like this shop the best. No worring about bumping elbows lol.

Had a great experience here several times for birthday parties. Also, two years ago my kids (ages 3 and 6 then) painted pottery for Fathers Day. My husband loves the pieces (a bowl and plate he uses for shaving) and uses them every day. Reasonable prices and the staff is very patient. I like the coffee/juice bar too.

Cute shop. Selection is a bit smaller than we thought it would be, based on the size of the shop, but they still have a good selection of pottery pieces. Prices are decent. Helpful staff. Separate birthday party area, so the rest of the customers can paint in peace. Id recommend this place to a friend.

We had a team building event here and loved it! It is BYOB and the staff was incredible (friendly, knowledgeable and responsive) in accommodating our party. We designed and fun pieces to paint. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun 2-3 hour event. Thank you!

I loved this place. Very nice atmosphere and a great place for first timers too. Its an excellent place for spending some leisure hours with your family members and friends who appreciate art work. My husband and I painted a bowl on our 1st wedding anniversary and we loved it.

Really really cute idea to have a pottery shop combined with a coffee shop. Its a nice place for kids and adults. My coworker and I had a really good time just chatting and painting. Their prices are comparable or even less than that of other pottery shops Ive visited.

Friendly, helpful staff. A great variety of things to paint, plus the glass fusion is a unique offering. They also have tons of coffee options to enjoy while you work on your project

Great atmosphere, relaxing music, good coffee drinks. I spent maybe 2½ hours painting and no one rushed me or made me feel like I needed to leave. 10/10 will recomend to my friends :)
