Four trips to the place and each one was worse. Tonight - 43 minutes with an empty beer while the bartender (just across the walkway from me about 8 feet - you can see it in the picture on this page) talks to his apparent pet customers while ignoring me. The one waitress available for the seven active tables walked by me about 15 times to and from those other seven tables; too bad as second time I was there she was pretty darn good but I was with five other folks in my group so I guess single people sitting by themselves don’t matter as much as lots of people. Add to the poor service, the food has been marginal to really bad (do not get the fish and chips!!!). The only thing decent over the 3 times I was able to get food was the fried oysters. Too bad as I am here on a two month project and will have about 30 people from three different companies corporate offices here rotating almost every week during that time but I guess when you are the only non fast food/dive joint in town you can get away with it. Not sure of the math but 5-10 people per night at $25-35 per head adds up over a 8 week period especially during the week in what appears to be a way point for tourists on the weekends. I even commented when I got up (after waiting for someone to take and order for 40+ minutes) to pay that I had been waiting and the bartender blamed it on the floor waitress. Would have been nice to have that $4.75 beer not charged to me; that would have saved this review maybe. We will be moving from the Best Western hotel (another ‘only choice’ in town) to about 20 miles up the road. It will be worth the daily drive I am told. You can read my few other reviews and see im not one to normally put up bad reviews but this one deserved it.

Being a loyal customer for a few years, ive always enjoyed the food...MOST of the time. There have been several times when the fries taste "fishy", or the shepards pie is not as big as it should be for the price. While it may have a great atmosphere during the day, once you become "acquainted" with the employees, youll soon find out that even though youre acquaintances, theres still talk behind you back, and sometimes right to your face even! Another thing is the prices. A National Bohemian beer, for example, should NOT cost $3.25...a pitcher of Sam Adams should NOT cost $17, or $5/glass, no matter how the atmosphere is...and...especially when its really not an upscale place. While the food may be good, its not great or terrific...its average, and id personally much rather drive the extra 30 min. to Easton to go to the Washington Street Pub where, not only in my humble opinion is the food better, but the atmosphere (of how a TRUE pub is), and the prices, are much better. Or even drive the extra 60 min. to Annapolis to go to Galway Bay, which REALLY is a pretty awesome place, and for just $2-$3 more, can get DOUBLE the amount in a Shepards Pie, and tastes great...not bland

My daughter and I stopped in here on our way home from the beach and both really enjoyed it. Great Irish pub atmosphere. Decent beer selection, including some from Maryland breweries. Good wait staff. I had fish and chips. Malt vinegar was delivered to the table before the dish, which is the right way to handle that. Daughter had the Reuben. She didnt leave a scrap of it for me to try and said it was delicious. Big city Irish pub feeling with small town Eastern shore charm. Wed stop again.

I ordered the $5 wing night plate and the wings were very good but I thought wing night came with fries and a drink due to burger night including a burger, fries, and a drink. So i was alittle disappointed. Also the waitress could have came by one or two more times to make sure we did not need anything else. We really needed napkins but by the time the waiter came around to our table, we had already been to the bathroom to wash our hands.

The pub is ok. The prices are a little high, but draft beer prices are fair. Go for the large for a better value. Service has improved and food is pretty quick. Sometimes the quality of food can vary. The thin fries are really good and the slaw with sandwiches is good. Their Caesar dressing is out of this world. Be advised their kitchen closes at 9 with a very limited menu after. Nice to sit outside in nice weather on the sidewalk.

My wife Lynn & I discovered this pleasant, friendly spot a year& a half ago. We enjoyed it from the very first and every more than 50 times since. Food is always fresh, well prepared, tasty & portions are generous. Owner, Wait staff, & even the chefs are attentive & pleasant. Dont want it to get 2much more popular than it is but r happy it is doing well.

We found this awesome Irish pub quite by accident while we were bicycling around Historic downtown Denton when we were camping at Martinak State Park. We have been back a number of times since then, occasionally bringing friends with us. We have never had a disappointing meal. They have a nice selection of micro brews on draft, and service is quick.

I have never had something I didnt like and have been there over a dozen times. I always order something I didnt have before. The menu is not very large but everything has been very good. Its more expensive then other options in the area but also better quality!

Food is good, service ok. Location is nice with outdoor seating in the middle of Denton MD and splits the drive to beach from DC in half. A bit hot and dirty though with some flies in summer. Would benefit from better air conditioning and cleanliness.

Awesome as usual. The service is friendly and efficient. We love the experience from the beginning greetings from the bar and manager Brandon to the service from our waitress Dana. Real hometown restaurant/ bar. Will be returning!

Stopped there for lunch in September 2014 while passing through on vacation. The food was delicious, the server was exceptionally good despite being very busy, and pinball is awesome. Every bar should have a pinball machine.

Stopped and had lunch on the way to the beach. Bartender/owner was so welcoming! Menu looked delicious. It was difficult to decide which yummy item to order. We went with the Guiness Irish Stew which was outstanding!
