My spouse and I went to the Big Fish on Valentines Day on 2/14/16. On this particular day the restaurant only had a VALTENTINES DAY MENU which did not have many options and was over priced. The items on the menu were not on there daily menu and even the waitress couldnt explain to me how they taste because she said everything was new. My spouse ordered a crab dip which he wasnt satisfied with but decided to keep it for me. Then, he ordered fish and chips which were disgusting and tasted like oil and lacked flavored. My spouse was very dissatified and asked the owner to remove it. The owner then said "I cant remove it because you dont like the way it taste, it fits our standards. It is nothing wrong with it." How can you tell someone what they like? Everyone has different taste buds. so, my spouse told the owner I am not gong to pay or eat something I dont like. The owner then said "you dont have to eat it but you will pay for it." He was very rude and disrespectful. He did not try to accomodate us in any way. My moms bday, happy hour, family outings, grandma bday, and moreI have dined with big fish on many occasions and never been treated in such way. Crazy thing is we went to Blue Dolphin up the street which everyone knows is way better and we left due to the wait. But I wish we would have stayed there and waited than to be dissatisfied. I will never go back again and they should really try to keep as much business as they can because BLUE DOLPHIN IS VERY HARD TO COMPETE WITH AND IS WAY MORE SATISFYING AND VERY WORTH THE MONEY!

Poorly ran, falling ceiling tiles. Alonzo who I believe is a manager, and the GM Ray, are rude to guests, I have overheard them undermining the staff and discriminating against guests as well as some of their own servers! They need to be inspected by the Dept of Health as well as the DEPARTMENT OF LABOR . I worked for this company only for approximately 2 months and realized they were allowing management to keep tips from banquets, then admittedly Alonzo said they go in and claim15%of the servers sales WITHOUT consent every week, also ANY of the food left over from banquets are reused. BUT NOT BEFORE ALLOWING THE staff to get some it. From my 15 years in the industry ,Im aware this is a health code violation! Im not a disgruntled employee, I just really want to put the staff and public on notice! Not paying the servers, 8$ an hour for O.T and forcing us to tip out, when only 1 bartender and 1 server work during the week in the A.M is also illegal. I tip out a busser even though there isnt one ? Yet I bus my own tables ? The list is not even halfway through, I hope anyone who reads this thinks twice BEFORE you decide to spend a dime. After all, they refuse many people who send their food back any kind of refund . They also reuse the dish!!!

My experience and my opinion. Id have to agree with a previous raters post. "Worst dining experience I`ve had". Apparently they only want reservations on holidays, but they take walk ins as well. Family all felt like we were not welcomed. Hosts incapable in figuring out what to do with us because we did not have a reservation. Management say us. Pretty much walked up to the take tossed the menus on the table and walked away. We were not even seated. I have a problem of giving places the benefit if the doubt next time Ill have to just listen to myself. The waiter seemed very pleasant but after he brought the drinks did not see him again for the night. This message has already taken more time of my night to complain. Yes when leaving they asked how things were which I am always nice and said ok because it would not change the outcomeof the experience. I would not call this upscale, despite is neat but more like a shore business fun house and way overpriced for the type of service and atmosphere. Oh and it was not very busy when we went there. Not going back again Taco Bell would have been a better choice.

Ive been to Big Fish well over 20 times, always good food & service, sometimes better than other. However many changes in the menu and staff so I will now give them a 1, if there was a 0 thats what it would be. Today, A Very bad waitress, (which I looked over) but she brought me the bill, it was doubled the price. I said to her you said everything lunch time was 1/2 price. She said Oh I was talking about the wine only.....Needless I did not argue, I just paid the bill. After signing my tab, here comes a manager asking be about is there a problem, (mind you I did not ask for a manager), it was not worth it to me, and he began to antagonize me as a customer. I was at first fine, but proceeded to tell me what she did not say, (mind you he was not present) ....After calling me a liar, I asked him nicely to remove himself from my presence as I did not complain so there was no need for him to accost me.. It got worse... Needless to say He actually told me God Bless and Come Back again, REALLY........Management at its WORSE............

We went on Monday Night $14 Lobster night 3/20/17, and we waited so very long for our meal that the server brought us all complimentary soup or salad. I highly recommend their soups, except for the extremely salty Vegetable Soup. They steam their lobsters, and I prefer a choice between steamed and broiles, but for $14 for a 1.25 lb lobster and huge baked potato, its a good deal. I think the lag time in bringing us our meal was an anomaly, and I will absolutely go back there for dinner. Its kinda pricey, so beware that youre gonna pay over $20 just for a salmon dinner.

The food was fine, but we had terrible service and there were gnats all over our table-gross! When we asked about the gnat issue, the response was "ya, thats been a problem here for a couple weeks." Our server seemed surprised when we asked for more water and when we ordered he was looking at the table next to us and not paying attention at all! He wrote down the wrong order and then we had to repeat ourselves several times to make sure he wrote down what we wanted. We will not be going back-we can get bad service and bugs on our table for much cheaper somewhere else.

Had to deal with a very rude manager, got appatizeres while i was there and got 2 to go but was charge full price for them while i was not for the food i ordered while i sat there. i was told that alll to go orders are not discounted but i could have ordered the food and boxed it up and got half price. manager was aggressive with me in telling me. Was told if i didnt like it not to come back.... and i wont blue dolphine had a better selection and alot friendler staff and is located less then a mile away with the same 1/2 price apps and sushi specials.
