Attention vegans ! Let the owner know that you would like vegan sour cream and vegan mayonnaise add it into the menu . This place is fantastic for several reasons one Im vegan and they cater to my every dietary needs here making me vegan breakfast sandwiches you can lunches etc. to their food is local, fresh and mostly organic. Damn their menu is fresh and creative making homemade soups daily delicious coffee drinks with soy or almond milk available. Service is always excellent and with a smile !

Melissa (ex-Hugos) makes some of our favorite sandwiches and breakfast in Portland. She doesnt cut corners, making most everything from scratch, down to the condiments. Recommends include the steak sandwich, breakfast hash, tofu wrap and meatloaf, although the menu changes daily. Comfortable spot if you have kids, also great for carryout on the way to the beach. Couple blocks from the greenbelt trail.

Nice little neighborhood spot! Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and tasty sandwiches, quiche, and other quick dishes. Lots of healthy and delicious vegetarian options too. I enjoyed the grilled veggie sandwich. They also have house brewed iced tea and a couple coffee options. Again, nice place for quick eats or a casual chat with a friend.

Detoured on our way around the lighthouses of the area, and it was well worth it. Visiting from the uk and hankering after some fresh, non fried food. Didnt disappoint. Sandwiches were fresh and delicious, coffee smooth and not burnt or stewed, and the chocolate chip cookie was just the right level of goo and crunch. Yum!

For breakfast, they have takeout items you can grab, pay, and go. Or you can order and sit and sip tea or coffee. I love the bread they have and its a nice place to sit and talk with a friend.
