Herma gerd, if I ever move out of the Cincinnati area, this is what Ill miss. Dixie has good food, friendly staff and so much nostalgia. I was raised on Dixie and Camp Washington chili, but the nostalgia doesnt end there, from the cafeteria style dining experience too the jukebox cranking out oldies and the red and white classic chili parlour decor, youll want to put on a poodle skirt and attend a sick hop! From out of town? Try the Aligator, youll be amazed that those flavors actually go well together. Also, at Dixie they bus the tables for you, which can be confusing because of the cafeteria style food delivering.

I like Dixie Chili, Ive been a few times with friends, I usually get the 3-way when I go. Personally I think the chili is a bit bland and leaves a little to be desired in the spice realm (this coming from someone who doesnt really like spicy food). It is my third choice behind Skyline and Goldstar. Im not a huge fan of the crackers either, the flavor just isnt that great, but hey, theyre crackers.

Second best of the Cincinnati-style chili! (In my opinion Empress is the best, but to my knowledge they no longer have a store and can only get in stores.) They have great options beyond your other Cincy Chili parlors, waffle fries and gyros... Come on now. You can get tastes from all around the world in one place. Love it!

This place is way too overrated. Everyone makes such a big deal about it because its an old-timey chili restaurant. Their food is average, but Im personally not a fan of the beloved chili here. Its just too bland for me. However, service is friendly and the line moves pretty quickly.

Best Cincy chili in town. Beat Gold Star,Skyline and all the rest. This Greek family brought Cincinnati chilly recipe to this country in 1921. Any bad reviews must have a personnel grudge. Been eating here for 46 years,and I dont take my food lightly. Only the Best!!

Great chili that do a better job with cheese, lovely style and delicious chili. Theres a pie that taste like both orange cheesecake and key lime pie, it taste delicious. I like the small flags that they put them on the table. The waffle fries are good, too.

My favorite out of all the Cincinnati chili parlors. Dixie is a little thicker, meatier, and not as sweet as some of the others. My suggestion: A regular 3 way with a chili-cheese sandwich and an alligator. My mouth is watering already.

Great local Chili Parlor! Since 1928. Had a Gyro today and it was awesome. Not just coneys here. Everything is delicious! 3 locations as well. Fast, friendly service too.
