Old School NY Pizza & Italian Restaurant offers a diverse, wide selection of whole pizzas, by the slice pizza, salads, garlic knots, calzones, lasagne, heroes (subs), and cannolis - all truly authentic flavors with the selections growing daily. They offer a fun, family atmosphere, with fountain drinks (free refills), a wonderful friendly staff and private rooms for gatherings. Great place for kids. Ali is fabulous and always remembers my name (and my dogs) even if we havent been there for months - this is the most fun, welcoming place to visit in Anchorage Plaza (even if it is still in Louisville). : ) Personal favorite is the Chicken Fajita pizza.

Had done some business with the owner of the restaurant, he was very kind and In exchange for helping him he wanted to give me a free pizza. I went into the restaurant the same day and showed it to the cashier and the cook named Ali yelled at me from across where he was working and said "we dont do that!" I asked "well its legitimate isnt it?" He replied with "yeah but Im not doing it either way, you tell the boss the cook said Im not doing it!" He was incredible rude as if I had done something wrong, on top of the fact they didnt honor the free coupon. Im sure the pizza is delicious but I wouldnt know I never got to try it.

I am a native New Yorker that loves a good old fasion slice, I have been away from home for a long time now and I almost forgot what a New York pizza tastes like until I found Old School N.Y. Pizza. I did not only miss the slices and the varity of Pizza Pies I also missed the Calzones, Lasgana and Meatball Subs, these are also Old Scool menu items you would find in a good old pizzeria back in New York. I eat there at leate twice a week, the times I can only go once, that 1 time is always wednesday because this is the day when kids get to make their own little pizza, my kids always look foword to it.

I have always loved this place! Today, the management just blew me away, though. They had a busy night and had limited choices of pizza available. The manager (or owner?) said he was making more pizza, and asked me what kind I liked. He made some special for me, and gave me a free cookie because Im 9 months pregnant! Lol it totally made my night and Im so pleased with my experience tonight. Not many places have staff and management that will go that out of their way to make your experience a great one. Ive never been disappointed here!

Ive ordered over a dozen pizzas from these guys, and that number is going to keep going up! When I call, their PoS system knows who I am, and they greet me by name on the phone (its the little things). Theyre crazy friendly in the store, and their delivery drivers are top-notch! Ive had the everything, from the Porko to the lasgna, and tonight we tried the Calzones... All I can say is WOW! I cant wait until the next time we crave pizza! Keep it up!

If the business owner would get his stuff together and actually hire a delivery guy this would be one of the more recognizable Pizza brands in Louisville. Its certainly one of the best pizzas, but there is no longer a delivery. Only pickup, which makes us only order at about 1 out of every 10 times we order pizza otherwise it would be 10 out of 10

The pizza taste really good. Actually, it is the best pizza Ive had probably ever. But the pizza does not compare to the amazing guest service that I received. Each and everyone was very friendly and I will most certainly be telling every one that I know that they need to try this place. Also, they have really great deals! GO! NOW!!!

Being from NY and NJ, we are always in search of good pizza, and we were pleasantly surprised to come across this pizza place when we made a wrong turn on day! The sauce was really good and they use just the right amount of cheese. The crust was a little thinner than I like, but cooked well. We are going back again tonight.

One of the top pizza places in Louisville. The pizza crust and toppings taste fresh and delicious. I recommend the barbecue or the chicken bacon ranch pie. They also experiment sometimes with pizzas such as the lasagna and the bacon baked potato pies. Everything Ive ate here has been good.

As a former New Yorker, Ive eaten a lot of good pizza. This restaurant has some very good crust. The $6 special which includes 2 ample slices of any type of pizza plus a drink of choice makes a good lunch or is even enough to share with a friend. This place is clean,friendly and fast.

Very good pizza taste, Im always ordering slices but Im going to stop buying there, I dont know why every time I eat there I got a stomachache. The five times I have gone the same, I have eaten pizza everywhere whenever I wanted with never problems, so who knows why.

Outstanding! Being from Boston, I have been on a quest for authentic East Coast NY style pizza since coming to Louisville over 20 years ago. My search has ended at Old School. Perfect thin crust and amazing sauce. The topping are fresh. I will be back!

By far the best New York style pizza (pie) in Louisville!!! The specialty pizzas our perfecto, down to the crust, the sauce, and the toppings. These guys still have their strong New York accent. And by the way, they dont call it pizza, they call it a PIE.

Ive never been to New York, so I cant comment on how authentic this place is. I can tell you that its great pizza and certainly beats the national chains. For lunch you can get two large slices and a fountain soda for around $6, which is a deal!

Growing up in NJ, I got to be particular about places claiming NY style pizza. This place hits the nail on the head. Perfectly done just like home. I make it here every time Im in town. Garlic knots are a must try as well.

Pizza was good but reheated in the oven for us as it was sitting in a case to be chosen by the slice. Im sure it would have been much better had we ordered a whole pizza fresh. But NY style is by the slice right
