My bf and I are currently on a roadtrip, driving from VA to CO. Stopping in good ole Louisville for the evening, we decided to give this place a go; and let me just say that it was awesome! We were seated quickly (couches!), and everyone was very friendly. Hannah was our server, and she was quite attentive throughout the evening; super friendly and cute, as well. I ordered the Fondue Mushroom Burger, which was pure heaven. I would highly recommend it. Josh, who I can only assume is the head chef, came up to my bf and I to see how our food was. He even brought me out some garlic mayo to try, as I did not get it on my burger (though it does come on it). My bf ordered the Chicken and Waffles, which was huge, and ate every last bit! Overall, it was phenomenal! We did not expect to have such a lovely evening, but the staff was great and so was the food! If Im ever in Louisville again, this will be the first place Ill go to; and I will now forever recommend it! Thanks again, Brick House!

Start off with the good: Service was what you would want from a restaurant. My wifes jalapenorita was half way decent ....Thats about it... The bad: Beer selection was abysmal. For domestic there was only lights on tap? Very very small craft selection which is exactly the opposite of what you would expect coming to a place like that. I ordered the Friday special 16oz rib eye medium rare. The steak was cooked correctly, but was tasteless. I have spent much less on a piece of steak from other restaurants and enjoyed them more. My sister ordered a pepperoni pizza which both her and I were unsatisfied with. My wife ordered asparagus with her shrimp and got green beans. in a party of 10 most of us were dissatisfied with the taste of our food. There are cheaper, better tasting options with a vastly superior beer selection out there. I have no plans on returning.

I will NEVER go to this place again! The floors are extremely slippery! I slid and hurt my did something to my knee. The GM and Assistant Manager had me fill out a report. I asked them what information I needed to get X-rays on my knee (I am currently using crutches). They told me they would take care of me and pay for it..They gave me the Regional Managers cellphone so i could find the info I needed. Well the Regional Manager told me that they were not liable for my medical bills... He said it was MY fault that I fell. Your own servers and hostess told me they fall all the time and that they need to get a new floor because people fall often! This is just ridiculous. So THANKS for making me spend over $1000 on X-Rays!!!! Our company will NOT bring our business once a week to your company anymore!!!

Beautiful comfortable restaurant with great service, and great looking menu but only to be a huge upset. Ive only been twice but the first time I had a Philly-like sandwich and it had a funky taste on the meat, had to have been old. The second time I had a steak salad. The salad was a mix of spring mix, romaine, and iceberg lettuce which has to be the craziest mix Ive ever seen. Steak was overdone. And so much for the rest of the toppings, there were none. Maybe a fluke both times but I absolutely love the bar selection, service, and overall feel of the place. I will continue to come back because of it. Hopefully the management will crack down on the kitchen and get a lead chef back there. They have the ingredients and dishes to hit a homerun but the cooks obviously dont care enough.

We came here for my husbands birthday and normally we love this place great food great service this time was horrible I ordered the steak and shrooms and a salad we didnt get our salads even though we specifically told him we wanted it before the entree are salads look like about 3 tablespoons of food in a big bowl my steak and shrooms came out and there were no potatoes and the waiter said well I took off the potatoes and replaced it with your salad and never told him to do that my husband ordered the blackened mahi mahi and got the grilled the waiter never replaced our drinks and it wasnt that busy wasnt busy at all actually pretty dead I paid $20 plus another $2.50 for a salad when the food look like it cost maybe $10 at the most. Were seriously thinking about not coming back

When it first opened, we went twice and it was terrible. We decided to try again about a year ago and it was amazing! We go at least a couple of times per month and everything is great every time! I highly recommend the baby back ribs...delicious, fall-off-the-bone good. Awesome appetizers. Its a great place to entertain out-of-town guests for lunch or dinner. Really cool armchair seating if youre dining alone and want to eat comfy in front of a tv. The chef has come out and talked to us personally before; he really cares that you enjoy the food. Oh, and the tavern wings with Man Cave sauce are fantastic! The only downside is if you plan to have more than 4 people, youd better get reservations in advance. There are only a few larger tables and theyre always packed.

Brick House is a cool resteraunt that I enjoyed going to when I lived in the Plainview area. The food is fair depending on what you order (quality is one thing that isnt very consistent - certainly nothing exceptional) but the drink selection is very good. However, on our last visit we recieved absolutely terrible service from the server and managment who were rude and arrogant. Drink selection doesnt mean much when your waiter doesnt care if your table has drinks (or food for that matter). There are too many good resteraunts in Louisville who want your business to waste time and money on the 50/50 shot of having a good (not great) experience at this place.

Worst server ever, Jonathan/JB, was strung out on drugs from a "rough night" before that he consistently used as an excuse for his terrible serving performance. Consistently messed up order forgot to bring drinks, forgot extra sauce on side, forgot to go box. Messed up the bills. I never write reviews but this server was so bad I couldnt not write one. He refused to write down our orders and was pushy when we said he forgot sides of honey mustard and ranch after 3 times asking for it. Tried to notify another server of his terrible performance but he didnt seem to care one bit either. No sense of urgency on the behalf of some of the Front of House staff.

The restaurant was far from packed at 4p, yet it took 15 minutes to get a drink from the time I had placed the order. It was another 20 minutes before our food order was taken. Ordered The Kobe burger medium rare, received it well done. Asked if there were vegetable sides available, was advised only tater tots and french fries--asked for tots, received fries. Another member in our group received broccoli and green beans as a side with his dish. The atmosphere was nice, and restaurant was clean, but the service was abysmal, and food was less than mediocre. Many better choices nearby, take advantage of those.
