Bartenders here have too much pride in their collection, so much pride that they apparently arent interested in selling it. Spotted a bottle Ive been looking for and asked for a price. Was told the bottle wasnt open and wouldnt be, but assured me it was great because he had it at another bar. Asked about another bottle and was told it was $50 a shot. I can buy the bottle for $200 today. Pretty certain they are making up the prices, as they have no list of bourbon or prices. Have to identify the bottle yourself and wait 20 minutes to get a bartender to notice you to ask the price. Glad I didnt spend a dime there. A buddy did buy 3 shots and then we found those shots in bigger pours for much cheaper. Skip this place and go to Parlay Social. They had all the bourbons we were looking for, night and day difference in staff attitude and much more value for the dollar.

Great selection. However, prices were extremely high, and somehow negotiable on higher end bourbons. They had a few things out on display with the normal selection that was not opened yet, and they refused to open or sell. If that is the case, I suggest putting in a different display section, and do not advertise it for sale. They were busy, but the staff was pretty rude to my party when we were there. We left here after having a couple drinks and went to Parlay across the street and had a much better (and cheaper priced Bourbons) experience.

Best bourbon selection in town and cheaper than Belles. Usually some decent craft beers, also. Staff is pretty amazing, knowledgeable and funny as hell. Couple other reviews said bartenders rude based on a few seconds of interaction which is unfair. They treat you how a good friend would treat you, cordial and sometimes smart-assy but always in good fun. Plus they really know their stuff, hard to beat this place for a casual drink or two.

Dont you love it when you get your night ruined by a hateful, mouse-faced jackass? I sure do. Thank you for the sobering moment when I, the customer, have to tell a bartender that the way that he responded to me was rude and dismissive. I do appreciate that the bartender did all this before I got a chance to spend a dime. Thank you for a night I wont soon forget.

After traveling to downtown Lexington to visit Bluegrass Tavern very disappointed they were closed in Tuesday even though their website said they were open. Ridiculous!!! At least Parlay lets you know the hate closed on Tuesday... Guess Lexington is not open for business on Monday or Tuesday.

Drinks were great; bartender not so much. There were 6 patrons in the bar when we arrived. The bartender walked over to us, checked his phone and walked away before taking our order. He was very rude and pretentious when we asked questions. We had one drink and left.

Bartender was a bit pretentious, but thats to be expected at a bar that prides itself on a single drink. Great selection of bourbon, although 90 percent of it is well over 12 dollars a shot. Their nasty and cheap liquor will run around 8 dollars a shot.

Excellent service. Best selection of bourbon around. Bartenders are very knowledgeable and helpful with finding you a good/new bourbon. When there is live music it is always good and appropriate sound levels for carrying on conversation.

My favorite bourbon type bar in downtown Lexington. The staff have always been great to me and it is a great place to be on a weekday to chat with folks and play some darts while sipping some fine bourbon.
