This Krogers location lives up to there well deserved reputation of having SUBSTANDARD stores in areas with less than effluent clientele. Compare this store to the one in Newport on less than 2 miles away, the exterior sign is the only similarity. I am appalled by this locally headquartered grocer charging more(i counted the milk, meat & produce as expensive at my location) with aggregate poorer customers. My local Walgreens, Family Dollar, Dollar General, Target, Aldis and CVS are of the same quality of every location I have shopped. Why does this store think it is alright to provide a lower quality product at a higher price to consumers it views as less worthy. I encourage those who care about social justice to frequent their local Krogers and be creative with social disobedience. You could accidentally drop some eggs, milk or fresh fish accidentally bump it under a shelf. Just do your best sweetie.

THE WORSE STORE IVE EVER BEEN IN! The employees here want to make sure to remind you that you are in Covington!! Its this store that helps give Covington a bad name! Im pretty sure they look for people with bad attitudes to work there. Everytime I go there I regret it! Ive lived in Covington for 2 years and sorry to say that Ive set foot in that dump 5 times now, certain that I wouldnt have as bad experience as before but they never fail to amaze me with how rude and nasty they can be. The conditions there are horrible to boot! Im wondering why Krogers allows such a representation of their company to continue! I dont drive out of my way to another Kroger I just shop at any other store I can find! Even the Super Value store is a dump but the employees get the concept that I dont have to shop there!! If I could I would give them a negative rating...I WOULD!!!!!!

This is by far the worst Kroger I have ever been to. Im a female and I felt incredibly uncomfortable walking in by myself. It smelled horrible and the place just looked nasty. Then as I was at the cash register, the young boy behind the counter was being incredibly mean to the old lady in front of me. Granted I understand that she was incoherant and confused, but he was extremely RUDE to her. It really bothered me!! I am not going back to this store ever which is unfortunate because its the closet Kroger, but Im going to drive the extra distance and go to the Ft. Wright store, I am confident that that store is is under better management!

I been going to this Kroger for the past 6 years and it seem to get worse as years go by. The people that work customer service are the most rudest people I have ever seen think theyre better than anybody and treat their employees and customers horribly. People that work behind delhi will just let you stand there and ignore you while you wait . Pharmacy employees rude and ghetto as hell. Store is horrible. I rather drive the extra mile and spend the gas to drive over to Newport Ky Kroger and the Latonia ky Kroger for better Customer Service. The only nice cashiers are Steve, Betty, and Amie they always smile and are very kind.

Well. Its in a slummy area, its a bit run down, there are some odd folks that hang around there, and theres usually a cop on duty. So that tells you something right there. Also. Their shopping carts are sitting on misc sidewalks all throughout covington. The front wheel is supposed to lock if you attempt to take it off the property, but people keep pushing them anyway. That makes for carts having a worn down wheel, which is annoying to use while navigating the store.

I live right around the corner form here and I know many of the workers. They are not rude at all and the reviews on here are totally false. It does NOT "smell" and it is actually very clean. Most of the reviews on here are from a few months ago or longer so it is possible that the store has improved since then, but even still I go there everyday and I have been for the past 5 years and honestly I dont see where these reviews came from.

They dont sell any wine. All sorts of booze, so Im sure they are allowed to carry wine, but choose not to. Weird. What country is this neighborhood in anyway?

Terrible store that is very outdated and small. Very little selection. Trashy parking lot, people asking for money when you walk in. Close it down.
