My mother went to this location a couple of years ago to order dinner for her and myself. She ordered the large size hot and sour soup. When I came home from work I dove into my soup only to bite into a piece of metal from a scouring pad. I told my mother not to eat another bite of her food and proceeded to take the food back to get her entire money back. I didnt realize she had already eaten her crab rangoon but wanted a complete refund. The owner apologized saying this happens sometimes. Seriously? How does metal sometimes get into your food? He only wanted to refund what was brought back and I told him no. A complete refund or I call the police, the health department and the media. I got my mothers entire money back. Several customers were there when this happened and I did not hide this issue from them. Some cancelled their orders, others walked out and you could tell the owners were upset. Since then they have had several health code violations. I do not recommend this place. Go at your own risk.

I have been meaning to give China Star praise for a long time on here! A while back I had lost my wallet with what I thought had a very large amount of cash and no id to contact me. I had decided it was gone for good being that I had no clue where it was. Missing it for a couple weeks I had come back in to get my pick up order and the awesome and trustworthy family had kept it in their safe till I had returned. To find out not a bill was missing! This gained my respect for life! Now onto the food... Couldnt be more pleased with their service, speed, and great taste of food. I have never had a meal there that has disappointed. With work ethic that is better then any place around no matter if its closing time they are great enough to cook it up. I recommend the moo shu pork. Keep up the great work China Star!

They used to deliver to my work as long as I ordered at least $30 worth of food. I dont know when they stopped (my last successful order was 2 months ago) but I just tried to order delivery and they said they no longer deliver to me. I used to stop by if I was in the area but they just lost my patronage. The food was ok but with this sudden change in delivery I just cant say that I suggest it. The fact that they delivered made me love and respect them since we live in an area that just doesnt have any non-pizza options. Oh well. I guess. Food is ok, not the best, just dont depend on delivery.

Moo shu pork is about all I get because it is so good I dont want to try something else. One order feeds me and two of my kids. I enjoy watching them make it - large wok, big ladel and a lot of stiring/banging. This is a true family run restaurant. The owners kids are usually at a table doing homework or playing games. Getting ready to place my order now for pickup. Looking forward to enjoying moo shu again...

Went in there for the first time, ordered Shrimp with lo mein noodles and chicken fried rice. Asked for both the orders to be extra spicy but it was no were near spicy. I threw almost all of my noodles away because there was something in there that did not taste good. I dont know what it was but I think it was bamboo shoots or something but it was really stringy, hard and did not taste good at all.

Fast service from a hard-working, family-run business. I love their food and have frequented this business for five years now. I recommend the garlic chicken, the crab rangoons, the mu shu pork, and the wonton soup. The food is good, the prices are right, and they have online ordering - whats not to love?

When I first started ordering from them they were awesome. Always extra spicy when ordered and food was great. Now Everytime I order and request extra spicy the food isnt even mild. Not a huge deal breaker but the food is never spicy anymore even when ordered as extra spicy and that makes me sad......

Ordered to be delivered. I ordered chow mein and they gave us some beef stir fry. My husband called them and the lady kept telling us thats what we ordered and that it was chow mein. It definitely wasnt because there was no noodles in it at all. Worst service ever.

They were nice but the food was not good. The lo mien noodles were very mushy, I realize they are suppose to be soft but they were far beyond that and the vegetables in it were hard it was very bland. We will stick with our usual place next time!

Im always excited to try something new here. Its a must have. Every dish is always fresh! If youre reading this, this is so much better than any other Chinese restaurant or buffet, whether I order out or dine in. I wish I had some right now.

I ordered egg drop soup and got egg drop natts and flies. Ive tried there a few times and the bugs in the food was the last straw. Not only did the soup have bugs in it, it was also green. Last time I eat at this place...

We used to order P.F. Changs all the time until we tried China Star. The food is better, maybe because there is atleast two dinners worth in one box or maybe the price makes it taste better, but either way, its delicious!

Best Chinese in area. Friendly and fast service. Food tastes GREAT and portions are very big. Been eating there for a few months and have NEVER been disappointed. HIGHLY recommend for Chinese lovers.

by Dan: I regularly travel to China and Taiwan and have had some really great dishes in both countries. The food at the China Star, for the price, is a great value. The service is fast and friendly too.

I get appetizers here for to go! The portion sizes never disappoints me. Bbq pork and chicken on the stick, soooo good! Even their fried dumplings are really good!

Two bad eating experience. Last time found Hair in three different bits of rice before I finally threw it away. They are also rude. Never again will I eat there!
