I ordered the chicken fried chicken. The vegetable of the day was corn. I received my meal and I noticed that something smelled rotten on my plate. When I tasted the corn it tasted terrible. I let my waitress know the corn was rotten She said shed go back and tell the kitchen staff about the quality of corn that theyre serving their customers. How the kitchen staff could overlook not only the smell but the taste of the food there serving to their customers is beyond me. The fact that I got served rotten food wasnt what made me upset it was the fact that no management came out and spoke to me about it are you in fact had to go out of my way to talk to a manager about it and all he said was Im sorry. No discount off my bill. It was just surprised me poor quality of food. It makes me wonder about the rest of their food there serving the customers if theyre trying to serve rotten food to me that is corn what else are they serving the customers

Our family enjoys eating at Midtown. It is a chosen restaurant for multiple-generation families to eat, which is really to observe. The food is basic comfort food, and the servers are everyday people. My go-to meal is their turkey club sandwich and fries. For dessert, you can get a great slice of pie from Cathys Pies in CR. At holiday time, Midtown will take pie orders and you pick them up at the restaurant. Midtown is relaxed and homey. A great place to catch up with friends or family over good food at very reasonable prices.

Midtown Family Restaurant is a local mom-and-pop type cafe with quality food at reasonable prices. Service is fast and friendly, and the environment is exactly what you might hope for in a local diner. The menu is typical American diner food; breakfast is excellent. They frequently have "special" menu items like shrimp and prime rib on certain weekends and advertise this on their lighted menu board on Scott Boulevard. Dont expect any high-end cuisine, but if you are up for a wholesome family meal, this is your stop.

Really disappointed in this place. My family was visiting and wanted breakfast food on a Sunday mid morning. The service was slow, getting our food (we ordered breakfast skillets) was slow, and our waitress didnt even know which skillets were which. She had to ask someone. The skillets were nothing special. They came on plates with some fried potatoes and a sad attempt to stir in some cooked other ingredients. Overall very unimpressed with this restaurant.

really good cheap homemade food, but they screw up on their togo orders ALL THE TIME and still charge you for it. they only tend to recognize senior citizens that visit here; ive eaten here 100 times and they still do not recognize me because i dont have grey hair.

Food is ok. Pretty bland. Its comfort food you would make at home. Prices are decent for what you get. Interior is kind of country and could use an update. Food does arrive pretty quickly though.

Reminds me of my grampas cooking they us real potatoes real meat in the gravy-I get the brown gravy as thats what my grampa mostly cooked. There service is fast. My cup is always full.

Wasnt too hot on the veg omelet I was served. The cheese slice obviously came from a package of kraft sliced cheese and was only slightly meleted. Underwhelming.
