Well, I was tempted to give an above average for this, but I think the one thing that brought it down was the price. I will say this, overpriced, yes. Delicious, however, yes yes. I will note the misspelling of cochon and matin on the menu, but couchon and matine will do. I guess the word matine is used occasionally. They call their pesto aïoli, which is incorrect, at least as I was under the impression that this is more of a mayonnaise. The plating was delightful, the crêpe was wonderful as it was fresh, and the batter recipe was nice. I enjoyed the Dandin. Turkey, swiss, "aïoli". I wouldnt say that this is at all authentically un restaurant parisien, but what I ate was tasty. My recommendation for the owner would be to check the spelling, the prices, and speak with a Frenchman. Reading the website it says the Chef is from Morocco and worked on a cruise ship to France, so please forgive if Im ignorant. However, only a $5 uncorking fee for bringing your own wine is a bargain, so I might be coming back just to enjoy some dessert and get a little tipsy.

Outstanding in every respect. Stopped there with two coworkers tonight and we all loved it. The best word to describe my crepe was sophisticated. I cant really think of what to compare it to as it was so unique yet so flavorful. I loved how you could watch as your crepe was made. And the plating when they present it to you was almost a work of art. I didnt find the prices high at all. This isnt fast food, and paying under $7 for food of this quality is a value to me.

Amazing new gem in Iowa City. Visited for lunch and we tried their Lyon, Ratatouille and Monkey. All three were fantastic and the presentation wonderful. They add a little artistic touch to each crepe and its appreciated. Endless coffee is a nice extra plus and all the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Very cozy and hope they get to expand their menu a bit once they grow...fountain soda? small side salads (i love my veggies!)? espresso?

Ive never been here before, but I took a group of 5 people to Crepes de Luxe last night for dinner. Ive had crepes before, so I kinda knew how good it would be. But Im sorry... This was even better than any crepe place Ive ever been to in Atlanta! I had one with Nutella, banana and raisins plus I tried the Roma. Both were fantastic! Price was low for the amount of work that is done on each crepe. Go... you can thank me later!

A friend recommended this place while I was visiting Iowa City and I absolutely adored it. The staff was patient and helpful, and the crepes are absolutely delicious. I had the Herb Chicken. I was concerned about the quality of the chicken since the chicken was pre-cooked. But it was absolutely delicious - high quality and moist. And, of course I got a dessert crepe.

The staff here is great. They are very friendly and helpful. They get 5 stars on their own. On our visit, my husband and I both ordered sweet crepes. One of which was pretty good and the other was just okay. Its not a place I will write off trying again (especially to try the savory crepes), but I also wont consider it a must eat place in Iowa City.

Ive been there twice now and both time fantastic, the atmosphere is quiet, service superb, you get to watch them make your crepe and the flavors. First time there everyone ordered their own thing, second time went with 2 friends ordered two savory and 1 desert, they split the orders 3 ways and we all got to enduldge. New favorite place in IC....

This is a cozy, small place with very delicious crepes. The crepes were good and home-made, and they have gluten free batter options. They are lacking in the coffee department, though- they have drip coffee that they offered to reheat for me. They would definitely benefit from barista service and a full equipped espresso machine.

I visit here all the time! I am gluten-free because of Celiac disease and you can watch them prepare your crepe. Ive never once gotten sick and the crepes are delicious!
