Edit: 3/5/2017 Yet again Chipotle knocks it out of the park. These burritos will change your life. Get one in your mouth immediately. Edit: 12/15/2016 Full five stars. The small room for improvement has been completely filled and this Chipotle is truly amazing. If you know me, you know that my heart beats for Chipotle. Guac is in my veins, and when I close my eyes at night, I see visions of burritos dancing in my head. Chipotle is finally in Dubuque, and on opening day I swear I heard angels singing. The food is fresher than Bel Airs prince. The flavors will make you slap yourself to make sure youre not dreaming. The staff is super friendly. Everything is very clean and modern. The one and only tiny, minor detail that needs improvement is speed of service. Often theres a long line. But I am very confident this will improve as time goes on.

They were having alot of issues when I was there but I didnt let it bother me because they are new and it was busy. However the one thing that made me mad was an employee was rolling up my burrito and it broke and leaked all over. She continued like nothing happened and when I asked if she could wrap it with another shell to hold it together she looked at me with disgust, rolled her eyes, and said I would be charged extra. I said "ok thats fine" which was aparently the wrong thing to say because then I really got attitude from her. Im sorry but I cannot stand disrespectful employees!

Me and my girlfriend go to Chipotles in other cities frequently and have never had a bad experience. We recently went to this particular Chipotle and were not impressed. First off the staff is extremely slow, we finally got to the checkout and realized they dont offer chips? Every Chipotle offers chips. Then we went to use a Chipotle rewards card and they said they dont do that either. Finally paid and they didnt even hand us our food. Literally had to reach behind the counter and grab the food.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and if youre wanting Chipotle, this is the place to go! I ordered a burrito bowl with just white rice, carnitas, and cheese, with extra carnitas. They were perfect on the order, treated me well, and were friendly with each other. I could also hear and understand the totals at the register over the music, which is a problem at some places. I will visit this restaurant again. And again. And again. Well, when I can afford to eat out!

Edit: Stopped in for a steak and brown rice burrito. They were out, but had it down on the grill and boiling. I waited an extra 5-10min tops. All Im thinking is, "hellya fresh steak and sticky brown rice". The staff felt it was necessary to make my burrito on the house. Im amazed by the level of customer service. I urge the management to keep the all-star staff theyve got and keep up the great work.

I am always surprised by the silly comments people put on these things. When you take into consideration the job and the pay, I am always impressed with the quality and friendliness of this place. Good food, good atmosphere, good prices, good, good, good. Remember to thank the staff for all they do. You get better experience that way, anywhere you go.

So my girlfriend and I went there last night. Against the advice of my friend and my dad who have both gotten sick from chipolte. Not even 12 hours later my girlfriend and I are both sick with food poisoning from this "restaurant". I will not be going here ever again. It was a complete waste of money and I strongly discourage anyone else from going here.

People need to relax. New business in town, new employees. When customers come that have "experienced chipotle in other cities" and complain.. it makes for a stressful environment. Chill people. Overall, I had a great experience.. minus the nagging customers and snickering comments.
