From the outside, this place looks like a tumbledown biker bar for outlaws. But proving that its what on the inside that counts, the Hitchin Post Grill is a very comfortable family restaurant once you step inside. The food is nothing particularly special, but they have sandwiches, dinners, and breakfasts. The atmosphere is cozy and the wait staff friendly and easy. All in all, well worth the $8 I paid for dinner.

Great greasy spoon restaurant. I love everything Ive ever tried. The prices are reasonable and the people are friendly. This is a gathering place for a lot of the local farmers so the dress code is come as you are. I particularly love the patty melts, clubs, and pork tenderloins. I usually eat there for lunch but have heard the breakfast is great too. I eat here about once a week.

Dont order the nachos unless youre okay with wet and mushy tortillas although I saw somebody eating a chicken dinner and it looked very good along with what everybody else was eating! Great prices all in all a nice place.

Good food and quick and easy stop when traveling I-35. We travel between Minnesota and Kansas City regularly and we always stop for a bump and a bite.
