Family was in town so we wanted to see if we could sit and relax with the cats and some drinks. I was very excited to go, saw the cats on the way up and it looked very nice. It was only when I went in that it earned one star. It was comedy night, and so the entrance was packed. We talked to an employee who was outside and she said that we could just ask to go into the cat room, there was just no place to sit. When we went inside, we had teens with us and an employee rushed to get us out because the show had cursing. We told her we just wanted to go into the cat room and if we can quick go in, but she said to come back in 10 minutes when the show was over. We came back 10 minutes later and she said 5 more minutes. Obviously you just didnt want my money, so we left. Sad that I wasnt able to go while family was in town.

This place is pretty great. The cats are treated respectfully, which means you might not get all the playing you want, depending on the time you come. If the cats are sleeping or just feeling like being alone, you dont get to harass them into loving on you. The area is clean and does not smell at all. You can take your tea or coffee in with you. The cats all have different personalities, of course. Some are very curious and outgoing, some are total lap cats (sit on the sofa for maximum lap attraction), and some prefer to sit and watch from a safe distance. The drinks are decent as well, and they have non-dairy milk available for the vegan and lactose intolerant crowds. Definitely worth a visit if you dont have cats at home and need a little kitty time to relax!

Interesting concept. If youre coming here for coffee the options are limited. It was really quiet, the staff wasnt very enthusiastic about greeting people, or explaining the concept. We paid $3 each to sit in the stinky cat room for half an hour. You can pay a little more and stay a little longer. There are rules, you cant just pick up cats, and definitely cant rub their belly. Which I find strange if Im going to adopt an animal? If youre into this sort of thing, there are about seven cats currently available for adoption through the Humane Society, and as soon as one gets adopted they bring another one in. I probably wont be back. Dont plan on adopting a cat and definitely not my preferred place for coffee.

I was very excited to go to a cat cafe. We get there and there is a comedy show in the cafe. We asked the owner if we can just go in the car room and not watch the show but they insisted that we wait for the show to finish. The lady told us to wait 10 min and the show would be over. In the meantime we went to the pizza place across the street. 10 min pass and we go back and the show is still going on. We ask someone if we can see the cats and again she told us to wait 5 min. I was completely outraged as I didnt understand why they wouldnt let us see the cats. There was no one in the car room either so we would have been the only ones in there. I was very upset but if you dont want my money thats fine with me.

Very fun experience! The price is definitely reasonable, as it only costed $5 to play with the cats, which was $20 cheaper than a cat cafe I visited in NYC. The coffee tasted great, and I really enjoyed the cat shaped cookies and catnip tea for sale. Also, the sayings on the coffee holders were hilarious and entertaining. The cats were mostly asleep when we were there, but that is probably because we went in the middle of the afternoon. The staff was very friendly, and the local art was impressive, along with the public canvas. I love supporting local shelter cats, and it is incredible how successful they were right away! I will definitely be back.

The staff is friendly, especially Lack, she is awesome! The cats were not super active then again they are cats...they have their own agenda. Only 5 cats because 3 had been adopted over the weekend! New friends in Tuesday, so come welcome them and you never know you may find a new companion. Get a Chai Latte! It is incredible. Catalina, Trixxie, Crickett and Mayor Cutie and, his sister, Mrs. Peepers are here. Come hang out with them. They will not be here long. I love what Nine Lives is doing! Keep up the great work!

The coffee is really tasty, the staff is friendly, and they treat their cats well. Its lovely hearing how frequently the cats get adopted and find their forever homes! Cat play time is limited by how active and awake the cats are, but thats to be expected because theyre cats. The staff does try to help the cats be more active, but again, there are just natural limitations. Definitely a relaxing afternoon!

I recently took my kids to Fountain Square for a day of duck pin bowling, good food, lots of shops, and then the best part Nine Lives cafe! This was their favorite part of the day! The drinks were superb. The staff was super friendly, and the cats were so sweet. I was shocked at how cheep the food and drinks were. I will definitely be coming back soon!

There were only five cats when we went, the website states that they would have eight to ten. Tea was mediocre and the cherry cola was blah. We were not impressed and definitely not worth the $15. We like the idea, just think that it could be executed better.

The staff is very friendly and the owners take an active role in meeting customers. The cats are adorable and have plenty of room to run around or chill in a private room if people become too much of a stimulus. Definitely coming back on a regular basis.

Had a great time playing with the cats here, and the employees do a great job of explaining the rules while being really friendly. Its great to go as a part of a date, and the actual cafe part seemed great too.
