Ok. So food is limited in this area and most is BBQ. We had high hopes considering the other reviews. Two out of four sandwiches were terrible! The beef dip was made from jerky and the au jus was almost frozen. The other sandwich had the wax paper between the cheese slices.. when we pointed these out they just offered to scrape it out and re-nuke it.. really? The staff seemed really unconcerned about their misstakes. The luxury of being the only cafe for miles.. Food choices in the area are tough so go for the BBQ or bring your own. This would be your last choice, but if you do, set aside some time. Service is slow..

First off, placed a call in order which took three phone calls to get an answer to. Second off, we get there and are told they dont even have what we ordered and we have to wait an extra 15 minutes just for a simple drink and get yelled at by an employee out of frustration. You do not ever take your frustration out on the customer. Never going there again.

Employees were very rude. We were waiting over 20 mins for our sandwiches, we were worried that maybe they accidentally misplaced our ticket. (we were not mad)Went up to ask, got attitude. When they came out to give us our sandwiches the lady made a rude comment. Customer service here was slacking big time.

Southern Perks is a cozy place in Lynchburg. The inside looks clean and well kept, even new but does have a nice southern feel. We had breakfast. The breakfast burrito was big and stuffed with flavor. It had egg, bacon, onion, jalapeno, and cheese. The herbal tea was also very good.

Good Coffee, Great People, and GottaHave Cinnamon Rolls. They also make a really nice Veggie Wrap (and meat ones for the carnivores). It is hard to eat out and still eat healthy so we appreciate it very much to find a tasty morsel that is not gonna kill us.

Best place for great pastries and delicious breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I enjoy their coffee, breakfast sandwich, the French dip, and the Philly cheesesteak. Their cinnamon rolls and muffins are great. Staff is very pleasant.

Food was ok, the service was surprisingly terrible. Went to the counter because several peoples food came out before mine maybe 5 or 6 meals, the lady gave me the biggest attitude and the argued with me about it.

Nice place to settle in for a hot (or cold) coffee and tasty homemade pastries. The staff is knowledgeable and polite. (And they use Ghirardelli chocolates!) If you want a sandwich -- The Rebel. Period.

The pizza and calzone was soooo good. Loved eating here. The service was lovely. And i believe it was the owner there with us and she was absolutely amazing!. I would recommend anyone to this place.

Jodi is a bundle of energy and upbeat friendly. She makes tasty, homemade fresh everything. Locals mix with tourist, local art is always displayed and for sale, and atmosphere is relaxed.
