I dont usually write reviews, but I felt the need to write this one. I am currently visiting Indianapolis on business. I was venturing out today and decided to get food when I came across your restaurant. The menu had wonderful options and the place seemed nice so I excitedly went in to get some food! I get to the host table and ask for a table for one. While waiting for a reply as he looked at available tables I looked around and noticed that the place looked like it was about half full in capacity. It looked busy but definitely had several open tables. The host then asks if I will be done by 6:45pm (in about an hour) because there is a reservation at 7pm that he needs the table for. I was caught off guard but said that yes, I could be done by then. Im sitting at my table feeling very rushed. Im trying to finish my drink and salmon by the allotted finish time as I look around and see 10 open tables, 14 when I first got here (I counted). Three of these tables accommodate a party of two and the rest accommodate more. Would I like another drink or dessert? Yes, I would. But due to your time constraints I wont be getting another. I am absolutely sure that it was not necessary to ask me that. As I write this at your restaurant there are still open tables. Ive asked my table neighbors and they werent asked the same thing. So why was I? I visit this city frequently but will never again visit your restaurant. Its a shame because the salmon was good and my waiter Gene was fantastic.

Chef Sully and his crew more than blew me away. It was devour indy that weekend so I did a nadarita (margarita) and it was delecious and balanced. The single best guacamole ive ever had. Let me be clear, i dont want you to mistakenly heard "they have really good guacamole." They have the best guacamole ive ever had. I had the chicken tacos and added the hot sauce from the table to them and they were literally over flowing with flavor. The nadafries were saucy but also crunchy. The flavor stayed in your mouth for quite awhile. I will never go to nada again and not get the carnitas tamale. It blew me away. Then desert we had doughnuts flan and the habanero chocolate ice cream and the pumpkin gelato, both of which were intriguing and tasty. Our service was phenomenonal. Never had an empty glass, always being checked on, and they even made suggestions (like the table hot sauce on the tacos i mentioned earlier) overall this was an amazing experience where i see that the front of the house service and back of house cooks rely on each other for an overall perfect dining experience. 10/10 i will be back every time i go to indy.

So I will preface this review by saying that Nada has a a few excellent choices for competition in the area which might make this review seem overly critical... My experience seems to go against most of the reviews for Nada so I guess take it with a grain of salt... Certainly there were some good aspects! The best part of our experience was the waiter who was very friendly and efficient. The second best part was the cheesecake dessert. The third good thing was the salsa which had a good flavor. They even found me one that was very spicy which I appreciated. The two things I thought which could be improved were the chips which were just full of oil and I just thought their interpretation of the fish tacos were bordering on fair food. All I could really taste was heavy breading and grease. It made me feel like I was in an English pub eating fish and chips instead of eating Mexican food. The shrimp tacos were less offensive but also kind of meh... All that being said there are many other choices on the menu which sounded good so Im willing to go back and give it another shot.

If the palace of Versailles turned into a restaurant it would be Nada. Bright colors, chandeliers, and the epitome of trendy. And the food matches the lavish decor. To start with the chips are handmade with a golden brown double layer crisp, they were a huge bonuses to meal. They have 3 different salsas, but we stuck with the mild and guacamole. The tacos are a very similar size and flavor to Bakersfields, however the prices are slightly more reasonable. I loooooved the Senor Mu Shu tacos, the ginger braised pork was sooo delicious, though the soy sauce was just a tad heavy. We visited over lunch on the weekend, so they had their brunch menu and we missed out on the churros. The waitresses were...interesting...they clearly new a lot about the meal, the origins of the food and the history behind the restaurant. It feels like they have a rule where they have to talk to each table a full 2 minutes before they can order. It was cool, but sometimes I just want food. Especially when I could make a meal out of their chips alone!

Colorful, flavorful, but a little noisy. My first trip was shortly after the opening. I went with a group of 6 around 4:30 on a Thursday afternoon. The place had a few people seated but was empty for the most part. The host gave a little attitude when we didnt have a reservation, but we were quickly seated. We each ordered apps, mains, and drinks. Everything was well made and delivered quickly. The chips and guac are very good, with a nice level of acidity and seasoning. For my main, I had a small salad which was a very generous portion. A friend had the boneless fried chicken, which looked amazing and gave me instant choice regret. The atmosphere is cheeky, colorful, heavy on the wood varnish, yet comfortable and classy. Details are abound in the materials, dishes, and glassware. Overall the experience was great. I will gladly return for dinner or lunch anytime.

I love this restaurant. Cool vibe, solid service, really good food. The blend of non-traditional ingredients into traditional offerings seemed weird to me at first glance. But you know what? It worked for me. If youre looking for something different than the normal steak and seafood places downtown ... or you need to get in and out quicker than you would at one of those places, give Nada a try. Ive dined at Nada twice and and was pleased with the food and the service both times. I honestly dont understand the 1 and 2 star reviews here. If you came here looking for authentic Mexican I can only assume that your reading comprehension is at a pre-school level. Nada make no attempt to hide the fact that they are not a traditional Mexican place. Give em a try. You might just find out that you like "weird" Mexican food too. :)

I tried to make a reservation about a week in advance, and the only way to do so was via email. The response is automated saying youll get a call within 48 hours. I was never called, so after two days I started calling. Was told every day that this particular manager, Karen, would call me back. The day before my husbands birthday I told the host I would look elsewhere so he took the reservation for me and I believed all to be set, only to receive a very curt EMAIL the afternoon of to find out that they could not accommodate us. On a Tuesday. I with never be dining at this particular establishment if that is the standard of guest services-- you would think at least manage!ment would be pursuing business not the other way around!!
