Dont come here if youre in a hurry! A group of four of us came in for dinner on a Saturday night and ended up waiting for about 45 minutes. We were finally seated in a bar area with lots of TVs on the walls. When we finally got seated, the service was quick enough. Our table ordered Homemade Chips and Bacon Dip, a Three Amigo Taco Salad, Claus Sausage Sampler, and a Chubby Burger. I had the burger and it was very good, using the same bacon dip that comes with the chips. I also tried the Alabaster Belgian White Ale, which was nice and light with subtle citrus flavors. Overall, I would come here again, but only during a less busy time. While the bacon dip is indeed delicious, I dont know if its quite worth the wait.

Great beer! Great food! Worst customer service possible. I guess when you have a good product you dont have to serve it with good customer service because we will just keep coming back regardless. Most of the servers (not all) just seem like they dont want to be there working and do not make you feel welcome. And there is one hostess, tall and thin, wears glasses. I have never seen her in a good mood. I normally just try to avoid having to talk to her. So if you want great beer and good food and dont mind being scoffed at then this is the place. If customer service is important to you... best go somewhere else. 4/5 times the service is a 2/5. Beer is always 5/5 and food 4/5.

The food here us pretty standard pub fair; not bad but not great. The appetizers are delicious though. I highly recommend the bacon cheese dip or the hot wings. The beer is the real reason to go a brewery anyhow and this is where OB shines. They have a variety of in house brews from ales, porters, and wheats. They also have seasonal brews. Sadly they do not have a stout on tap at all times. I highly recommend the Indiana Amber and the Supafly. Beer prices are reasonable, but they have spcecials Mon - Thur. Thursday is growler night. Overall great place to go if you dont mind waiting around for some tasty brew. Truly a "Must Go" if you are visiting Indianapolis.

Not at all what we expected, the food was overpriced for what it tasted. We had the Kwans dynamite shrimp, implying spiciness, something that was absolutely absent. We also had the California Bruschetta, that tasted like melted cheese with tomatoes. The beer was OK... seasonal lager, dark porter (chewy) and the IPA...there was actually beer in the glass when we left... overall a disheartening experience... we are going back to the Black Swan.

I have been a loyal customer here for a year and a half now and enjoy everything they have to offer. Every item on the menu is delicious, especially their all-you-can-eat ribs on Mondays and Kwangs Dynamite Shrimp. The showstopper is the beer though, with the house originals all amazing and satisfying beers, and their seasonals are always a treat. You have to keep coming back to try all their delicious brews on tap!!

GREAT Beer. Decent food. The raspberry beer is fantastic. The food we found good at times, others just ho-hum. We didnt have a consistent experience with the meals at the restaurant, but constantly good beer. They are better at brewing than cooking. Overall though, good location, and my wife and I would go again if we were in the area, but we would have our expectations set appropriately.

Great place to relax and enjoy a few beers !! The food is always cooked to order and if a mistake is made they fix it. The waitresses were made aware of food allergies and they purposely make sure my food avoids any garnishing with this food I am allergic to!! Clean bathrooms fresh beer and amazing burgers !!! Couldnt ask for anything to be different Kudos to the chefs and wait staff!!

Great beer, good ambiance, particularly impressive menu selection. Choose from typical bar fare of burgers and wraps, Irish pub options such as fish & chips, Reubens, bread puddings, and even some Italian ravioli, pizza, & seafood alfredo. Friendly staff, family -friendly atmosphere, a treasure tucked-away in Greenwood. My only complaint is that we dont live closer.

Been going here quite often for the past 5 years or so. Love the beer and food. Always had great service and the food is relatively cheap. Ive tried most things on the menu but havent found anything yet that wasnt good. My favourites are the Hoosier Tenderloin (fried), the French dip, and the Alabaster Belgian White beer.

Delicious food and friendly waitress. Quite and great atmosphere. All kinds of things to check out plus tvs everywhere. We had a group there today and everyone enjoyed it. They have a special every day. Asked to get a picture of the owner and staff but the girl up front said they dont do that. Too bad. Sorry, I tried.

Server was very unpleasant. She seems to have bad day and was trying to put her frustration on us. Wel she did it finally, when I saw my Credit card statement I was changed +$20 than my check amount. I was lucky I checked my statement online noticed that. Have to call Oaken Barrel to revert these charges.

From out of town... Googled "best place to eat in Greenwood" and this is not the place. Got the cowboy caviar app that was basically a boat of sour cream and cream cheese. Ordered personal pizza (prob. Not the best thing to order at a place like this), it was decent.. came out hot! Staff was friendly!

Went in for a growler of APA. First visit, so I didnt know they sold 6 packs. After pointing out to my friend that I should have grabbed one instead, the manager (I assume) came by and offered us one that was a mix and match. Very very friendly and I left feeling very good. Will definitely return!

The food came out within 10 minutes of our order and was fantastic! Add in the fact that the beers are $13 a pitcher and youll have a great meal! Only complaint I have is the lack of beer for a brewery, I kind of expected there to be a lot of Oaken Barrel beers but they only had 6 on the menu :/

Ive been a few different times and each time Ive gone the food is hot, fresh and just overall yum! I really enjoy their breaded tenderloins and onion rings. The staff is very friendly and accommodating with food requests. The place can be a bit loud at times depending on where youre sitting.

Closest brewpub near where I was and turned out to be real nice. Decor and theme arent anything extravagant. Food was traditional American cuisine. Burger was cooked properly and had good flavor. Superfly IPA washed down the burger really good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We went for late lunch. Not too busy with prompt service. Tried the pale ale as well as a seasonal. Very fresh and tasty. The steak sandwich with au jus was hearty and very good and the salads are fresh made. Relaxing patio area with beer barrel themed fountain. Nice experience.

Very good service and excellent pub food. A Brewpub that has been around from the early brewing Renaissance in the 90s. Seems to always keep the quality high and has stood the test of time where other ventures and franchises have shuttered. Worth the visit.
