I did some research online trying to find a local farm that I could get my meat as well as poultry and eggs. Well I found Tyner Pond Farms. Well that then lead me to The Mug. The Mug is their restaurant where you get farm to table food. So I thought this was a good place to check out before heading to the farm to check out their selections. Upon arriving I found that it is an old school drive up. We, however, did not order from our car. Instead we went inside and placed our order. I went with the double bacon burger, onion rings, and a jumbo (32oz) drink. We then went outside and waited for our food to come out. Since every thing is cooked to order and is incredibly fresh it took a little bit of time for our food to come out. BUT I dont mind waiting for quality. When our food came out I was more than surprised with what came out. A massive burger with melted cheese, as they call "Mug Sauce" and other locally sourced fresh toppings. The onion rings were HUGE and amazing. They gave us what I believe was honey mustard sauce for the onion rings. My partner had the same burger and fries. The fries were great too! But what is most impressive is how friendly the employees were. I feel like I made a new friend tonight after the lengthy conversation we had with Emily (I really hope that is her name). She told us about upcoming ventures, where all their food comes from, and additional information about the farm. After we finished our meal (which then ended up including the most amazing pork tenderloin that I have ever had) we ended the night with ice cream. Its epic! If you are in Central Indiana - GET TO THE MUG IMMEDIATELY. It is epic! It is worth it! And you more than get your moneys worth!!!

The food was amazing. Best pulled pork I have ever had. I was there in the slow afternoon, so I hung around to work for an hour or so, and they were great. Very accommodating, offering refills, etc. It was a nice quiet place to work with the shade and a nice breeze. Great view of the park and old chapel. I LOVE that the food is farm to table. I am restricted to a pretty careful diet, avoiding a lot of chemicals and preservatives, so eating out can be tricky. It was great to find a place in a small town with fair prices with wholesome food! One complaint: their bathroom is not the best set up. There is an extra door inside the restroom for the kitchen staff to enter. There is a sign that says to lock the door when in use and to unlock when you leave. Although the door was locked, the staff failed to knock, and unlocked the door AS they turned the knob and walked right in! Luckily, I was washing my hands, but this could have been VERY embarrassing.

Good quality food with quality ingredients from local suppliers. It might be a couple dollars more than McDonalds but you cant compare the food and the quality of the meat. The meat isnt Frozen saturated with salt and shipped in from god-knows-where like it is from McDonalds. Always have polite service too. If you go on a nice afternoon or evening they will be busy and food is made fresh when ordered. This is not fast food. It will take 15 minutes minimum if there is no wait. But you can be waited on at your car like a drive up or call ahead and your order will be ready when you get there.

Had wanted to try for quite a while. Did not live up to expectations. We ordered online and got hamburgers, fries, and pulled pork sandwich. Hamburgers were ordinary with a generic bun. Most fast food chains have better tasting hamburgers. Fresh cut fries were okay but not great. The garlic fries were served in a greasy, soggy pile within a container. The one bright spot was the pulled pork sandwich. It was very tasty with just the right amount of barbecue sauce. Ill give them another chance but will not be ordering hamburgers or fries.

I love The Mug! I love that they use farm fresh food and they make their dishes to order. I LOVE their root beer. Their ice cream is delicious, too! Those pork fries are to die for!!! Anyone who has ever waited on us there is very down to earth, polite and kind. The Mug is our go-to for an affordable dinner and a fun atmosphere. (By the way, theyre also open during the winter. They have a heated eating area set up and everything along with the drive in!)

The Mug is an old drive-in restaurant that they converted into a fancier farm-to-table restaurant. Most of the seating is still outside, but it is covered and is enclosed during the winter. The food is great. The tenderloin is possibly the best Ive had, and I have had a lot. The price is higher than you might expect from a restaurant that looks like a drive-in, but its fair for the quality.

By no means is this place "fast food", but it is well worth the wait. Everything our party ordered was fantastic and there were several other things we wanted to come back and try. The food is made fresh and sourced locally. They have tons of family board games to play together while you wait. The root beer is great, if you like root beer.

My first experience at The Mug was fantastic! I had the cuban sandwich and it was amazing the fries were good as well. Service was excellent they were very patient and friendly (had 6 kids with me) also gave us a ton of extra french fries. I will definitely be giving as much business as I can to this place nothing beats farm fresh meat.

I honestly dont get it. I thought the food was below average. My Tenderloin, while hot and definitely NOT a fritter, seemed devoid of any seasoning at all. The fries were straight out of the bag, and the service was mediocre. Ill give them another chance in the name of fairness at some point and update my review if merited.

Fantastic place, all meat is hand raised and free range by a small local farm ( Tyner pond). The food all tastes amazing but the only down side is price. I recommend drinking before you go and use all your money for the food. Look up the menu online for pricing so you arnt surprised but it is well worth it.

Food is awesome. Great flavor, nice portion size and well prepared. Yes, you will probably have a wait. But it is worth it. The food is always hot and if it isnt right, they are great about fixing it. They have games for the kids to play and you can order ahead.

Got the recommendation from someone while coming through Greenfield and the family decided to stop in for lunch. The food was excellent and the service was great! Will definitely stop by there again. So excited that they have a location in Irvington now!

Cuban and tenderloin are great.....the single cheeseburger is pathetic in size and a huge rip-off for nearly $5.00. They say 1/4 lb....Im guessing that was pre-configured! It wouldve been lucky to be an 1/8 lb served.
