Always a good meal. We enjoy the buffet or getting just a soup and salad bar when we want to eat lighter. The soup and salad bar even includes desert bar!! Dont forget to look at the menu as we often order individual meals and appetizers. The menu changes occasionally to include chef favorites. For todays lunch, we had pork rind bbq pulled pork nachos. That was an excellent surprise and we also got the Saturday sandwich special, Reuben on crisp rye bread, and a side of sweet potato fries. We always find a new favorite at The Putnam Inn.

Our wedding was this past Saturday in Clayton, Indiana and the Putnam Inn catered. We have not stopped hearing awesome things regarding the food! The buffet was an unbeatable price and included the white table linens, cloth napkins, silverware and cups! The staff was fantastic and efficient. The students (a few HS students were on the team) even were able to relax and have a few dances after the food was served and packed up! I highly recommend using the Putnam Inn! Rhonda was always very quick to get back to me with my questions as well!

The Putnam Inn is a great restaurant if you do not have children. The buffet on Sunday is way overpriced for kids. Not for adults but for kids it is way too high. My children are 3, 5, and 6 and they hardly eat anything. I will not go back. Do not go there on Sunday with children unless you want to pay atleast $45.00. That is for 2 adults and three children.

Buffet was good but when we arrived at 430pm some of the hot buffet items were cold. The fried chicken and fish was great. The steak compared to golden corral. Great variety on desserts. The staff was very nice. Great place for something other then drive thru or franchise restaurants. I would stop again if i was in the area.

I called on a Sunday to check and see how busy they were, I assume pretty busy, and to ask how long the wait was. The response was "I dont know, were busy. No idea" every other restaurant is able to give an estimate so Ill try there where the employees seem interested in providing information.

This place has good old home style food, but with the best recipe youve ever tasted for each dish. I tried everything from the turkey to mash potatoes to ribs to fish to bread pudding and everything in between. I was really impressed with each item I tried. I highly recommend the Putnam Inn.

Clean, friendly, and delicious buffet. They also serve Sun King beer, which is a huge bonus! Amazing fried chicken, delectable mashed potatoes, and superb fish! They also have a decent sized salad bar with many terrific dressings! The breakfast buffet is dynamite on weekends!

Heard the fried chicken was good, so we stopped in for dinner. Both of us had the buffet...I was impressed really, buffets arent really my thing but the selection was excellent and the food was tasty. Reasonably priced for sure! The fried chicken was very good!

We Love This Place! The serivce is always wonderful & the food is consistantly good! We also highly recommend the Sunday Brunch. Its the only Sunday Bruch in town to offer a good variety of fresh fruit as well as the best cinnimon rolls around.

Waited 15 minutes for service after sitting down so we helped ourselves to the very disappointing buffet. We opted out of the seafood upgrade and is a good thing we did because the standard buffet was $16 per person!.... never again.
