Jeez. So confused about the negative reviews here. I arrived with only a couple dollars, and asked for vegan cookies. They were out, so the owner made them special for me! And WHOA, they were amazing! He suggested sugar cookies with an Oreo mix-in (vegan doesnt always equal healthy!) I was even offered a free cookie for my wait. I loved his kind gesture - the fact that he was willing to make vegan cookies special. Every time Ive come here, the staff has been incredibly kind. The owner seems sweet. Im not quite sure why the previous reviewer is so upset about too many sprinkles... seems decadent. That sort of generosity isnt common in foodservice. Plus, theyre just sprinkles! Im sure they couldnt possibly ruin the taste. J. Plunkenstein, "disgusting" seems to be a harsh adjective for them; if you were talking about Jack Fruit or Natto, sure... but sprinkles?!

I ordered the $20 cookie cake. The person on the phone said that it usually takes a 24 hour notice. When I said I had wanted now or not at all, they changed their story. The owner said it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I got there he lied to my face because I realized once I got home that they had sold me a poorly modified day old cookie. I was fooled into buying something they were giving away as a free sample in when I was in the store earlier. None of the ingredients were baked in but instead, placed on top of the ice cold cookie. The whole experience showed me that they are a dishonest company. Basically $20 for last nights leftovers. What a rip off.

I finally tried Baked! for the first time last week after having heard that their pre-made cookies arent great and am so glad I did. Their custom cookies come to you hot and melty and Im so grateful that they have both a gluten free and vegan dough option (along with soy milk). Would be even better if there was a gluten free AND vegan dough option, as well as vegan friendly icing. The atmosphere is overwhelming and doesnt feel particularly clean, but they are changing locations soon and this may change. Service was friendly and although the cookies arent cheap, the custom cookies are a worthwhile experience. Definitely give them a try!

Locally owned and very good cookies. There are specials every day and the prices are reasonable considering its local. They have a huge menu and the "build your own" cookie style is awesome. I recommend chocolate dough with mint chips! Yum! (Im a cookie minimalist, though. Many people put a lot more stuff in the cookies) The environment of the shop is also great. I dont recommend delivery because it seems to be somewhat slow --about an hour-- , and I like my cookies hot out of the oven. Overall I say check out the shop, get a dozen cookies, and see for yourself :-)

I cant believe how many people put bad reviews for this place. Those who put bad reviews about the taste of the cookies (not the service), obviously do not know how to make a good cookie! Yeah, these cookies may not seem the best if you are totally boring and get chocolate chip or oatmeal raisin. However, if you have a sense of taste, and put together a solid combination (chocolate dough with oreos and reeses pieces for example), then you will likely think this place is heaven on earth. Stop hating because you have boring tastes!

Used to love Baked when I came to IU back in 2009. I dont know what happened though-- in the last year or so theyve really gone downhill. The past two times Ive ordered their cookies, theres been hair cooked into them. So disgusting to take a bite out of a cookie and pull a long strand of hair out of your mouth! The quality of their cookies has really gone downhill too. Im sad because I used to love this place, but I cant even think of going there now without getting queasy. Sorry guys.

Overpriced, poor quality cookies. Youd think a cookie place would do something gourmet, but theyre more gimmick than anything. I added sprinkles to my cookies, but rather than sprinkling them on top, they completely caked all sides of the cookies in sprinkles, and it was disgusting. Theyre supposed to be a decoration, not a flavor! Youre better off getting frozen dough and popping it in the oven. Also, theyre always out of the vegan dough.

What a concept! We were in Bloomington for the IU Parents Weekend. The cookies topped off a night out with our daughter and her roommates. It was fun drawing with chalk on the walls while we waited for our cookies to get BAKED! The young man who waited on us even made a fresh pot of coffee for us. This place would be a hit with cookie lovers on any college campus / shopping mall. Deliveries to the dorm? Brilliant!!!

Only in a college town can you get fresh, late night cookies delivered. I honestly havent had a bad cookie combination from here, so just go with your usual, or branch out a bit. I will say dont go too overboard on ingredients, because the dough is actually very good. Its a little pricey, but youre paying for convenience. Id avoid this place if you dont like cookies or brownies.

Baked is by far one of the best experiences Ive ever had eating desserts. Their approach to cookies and The Gourmet side of things is amazing and tasty. The owner Jeremy and his wife Tyler are savvy smart and have a well-put-together business. I would not only recommend this place to anyone. I would say if you didnt go youre missing out on a lifetime experience

We got a big assortment of cookies there to take to a big annual party. They have an endless varieties of ways to fix cookies. And they were all good. Maybe even real good. But, honestly, we did not think they were great! And they were not cheap. By all means, give them a try. Perhaps youll be knocked out by them.

Awesome cookies but always something wrong with half my order(3rd time entire toppings were left off). Quit getting baked before work guys and dont look around saying i didnt do it while the customer is standing there. Best cookies in bloomington just check your order before you leave.

Worst Place ever. Tried to see their menu online to find out they "didnt pay to renew their web domain" so there was no way to see their menu online. I tried to order on a Sunday night while the students were gone and it took an hour. DONT BUY FROM THIS PLACE.

They can make the most bizarre combination of cookies to suit my odd flavor palette! I cant think of any other place that makes custom ordered deserts on the spot like Baked that doesnt cost a fortune. I take all my friends that come into town to Baked!

By far my favorite place to get cookies. The staff is very friendly and helpful and let me get pictures in their kitchen for a school project. The cookies are custom made to order and taste incredible. Would highly recommend if youre in Bloomington!
