they close at 11 pm not 9. they have wonderful service unless you are the only one with bad assistance, 1 out of a 100. I like coming here, although the store is smaller than the one in Arlington Heights. If you have time and can go there, you might like Meijer even more. Their prices are lower than Jewel, and I save a ton by buying products from their brand. I dont buy as much grocery as I find it a bit expensive but I do buy theirs when I cant go to my favorite grocery store. I like buying their chicken as it has no hormones is freshn and has a great value. You wont be disappointed, unless you are expecting a red carpet rolled out at your feet. Their building was built for the store in 2010, and its interior is nice, way nicer than the one in Niles.

This store could be so much better if they would step it up a notch! Some of the foods in the deli section are dried out and undesirable. The deli personnel are very nice though. The bakery personnel could use some customer training however. The sample people in the store are very slow and usually gone from their posts for a long time. I spend a lot of time there and have made a note of this. I have been an event specialist before and made/passed out samples......It seems that IF they are to continue having them there they should be on their posts and not spending close to an hour getting samples ready.

Horrible service at the Customer Service counter. Waited there almost 8mins after one of your associates who was white with red hair saw me standing there waiting just so a man can jump in front of me and she assisted him instead of me. That was poor clarity upon her part. I left without being serviced. I hope she understands that delegation is apart of her roll. I will never ever stop there again. Incident happened today and will be the last

Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry
Meijers in Melrose Park has been extremely accommodating with Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry. Thanks to their great customer service and flexibility we have been able to easily purchased emergency items. The food pantry and our clients (about 1,400 families, average/month) are very thankful. Keep up the great work!

completely disappointed. being familiar with other locations in the area. they have come into a medium income area seemingly with the thought that the melrose park store interior does not need to be as nice as the others and offering much less variety .

Juan, Meijer took over the building and Meijer opened it in August 2011. This is not a new building. Its actually an old Cub Foods building. Good store great prices. Oh and Juan, Meijer is in Rolling Meadows not Arlington, super nice though.

There is an employer here, heavy set with red short hair, I just came here to buy beer and she kept following me around and even called the security on me I felt discriminated to say the least. I hope management can correct this issue!

Highly recommend! Cheapest, quality grocery store in Illinois area. They have a variety of options: their brand and name brands. Similar feel to Walmart even though Im more of a Target girl.
