I was excited to see 4.2 rating looking at these reviews. Unfortunately I cannot give a rating anywhere close. I had a tight time frame to get lunch for a group of people. So I pre-ordered my food ( Naan) ahead and was asked to come at a specific time. When I got there, not only that the food was not ready,I had to wait for another 15 minutes before I got the food. I had requested fresh Naan to be prepared as there were some reviews suggesting that the food may not be fresh. I could not check the quality of Naans before I picked it up. Unfortunately, I had to throw all Naans away as it was not eatable. It was really dry and hard (Like Rusks). Tough even to break into small pieces. When I called back and inquired, the owner informed that they never had any complaints. Waste of money, time and effort. I have had Naans since my childhood, but never seen fresh Naans so bad.. I guess from his perspective I may be the only unlucky one. Any others with similar experience? ****************************** Response after reading owners reply to my post.. You cannot fix a problem unless and until if you believe there is one exists. It is good to keep laughing at yourself.. Just FYI.. I am not an agent of any of your competition, just a genuine customer.. who loves to have authentic Indian food. If you want to believe in other conspiracy theories.. Good luck!!

I went in today not really knowing what to expect but it turned out pretty great. I love Indian food and its close to my house so I thought Id give it a try. It is not a typical Indian restaurant, it is really like taking the Chipotle concept and applying it to Indian food. The food is fresh, delicious, and there is a lot of it. I couldnt finish it and I am a big eater. Had the most expensive dish, lamb with two add ons, chick pea and cauliflower with the spicy curry. You get your choice of two kinds of rice or nan bread to go with it. I had the nan bread and on the servers suggestion they cut it up and put it at the bottom of the bowl with all the curry and topping on top of it all. It was a very hardy and satisfying meal and with a fountain drink still only cost me about $9.50 which is a great deal for a lamb curry dish and drink. The place was not very busy so I hope more people discover this little treasure so I can keep coming back for more. This is one of my new favorites.

Looked for a new place to try after showing real estate in the area and came across Tandoori. Had great reviews. Met the owner who was attentive and helpful with ordering. What came next was a flavorful and fulfilling meal that at first didnt look like a lot of food but ended up being just right! Had NAAN with SPICY CHICKEN and 1/2 POTATOES, 1/2 CHICK PEAS. Topped off with SPICY Vindaloo Curry (spicy, tangy tomato curry with a hint of vinegar). This is as spicy as it gets unless you have it tweaked in the kitchen. Tasty and the right amount of heat. Give them a try. Owner said opened June 2016 and doing well. Just starting to cater. Started take out several months ago.

Oh bway,, I dont know from where to start, even one star is too much for this restaurant, Do yourself a favor go to something authentic, Naan was frozen, they could not even completely warm it, garlic added on was burnt completely, Funny part was I called the owner who says his name is john lol says garlic is burnt its usual we cant remove it once it is burnt lol.. it was hillarious.. I order chicken tikka masala and butter chicken have same gravy just piece of chicken added to this frozen gravy.. I am sad to say its a worse food I ever had.. Owner or john whoever it was, I tried to give him feedback as restaurant is new, he hung up lol..

I wasnt in love with this place because of the naan. It was thick, bread-y, hard, and undercooked unlike the light and flaky but still soft naan Id say is perfectly done. Got paneer, potatoes, and chickpeas in the tikka sauce -- and this was very good amount of food for $8 -- but the potatoes were also slightly undercooked (another turn off). The sauce, chickpeas, and paneer all tasted great, but were a lot greasier than they could have been, and Id doubt the freshness or homemade nature of the sauce. There are other Indian options in the are that Id choose to visit over this one!

I was excited for this place to open up! The concept is similar to Chipotle where you can customize your meal; its not a sit-down restaurant. They are very nice and welcoming here. Right now they have a promotion of 30% off of the menu prices before June. I made a tandoori chicken with naan and a lamb rogan josh with basmati rice. The flavors are there! It was excellent, and I really enjoyed the vegetable samosas. This will be one of my go-to spots for lunch. I recommend it!

It is exciting do discover small jewels like this Indian places exist hidden in the NW Chicago suburbs. You can tell when the team behind the business are passionate about their food. Their selection is truly a delicious palette to choose from in a build-your-own-plate manner where each ingredient adds to a dinner (or lunch) to remember. Weve been there three times and no doubt well be back. It was even worth going on our wedding anniversary!

The concept is interesting, a fast food Indian restaurant. According to a nice lady serving at the counter the food is prepared daily based on authentic Indian recipes. What can I say, the rice is bland and overcooked, the sauces dont taste authentic. The service is nice, prices are ok but the food needs improvement. In all honesty you would be better off going to a regular Indian restaurant, you wont pay much more.

I dont think you can find a better bang for the buck in the way of Indian food. Plus its fast. Sure the naan might take five minutes but its not sitting on a warmer getting all dried out. Part of me wishes they had an item or two extra on the menu and yet at the same time I understand by keeping the menu simple Im getting fresher food faster and cheaper.

The most amazing fast food Ive ever had!! More than enough food for the money and I especially like how they serve "chipotle" style. Ive been there about a dozen times and have never had the same thing twice. The owner is also a hell of a nice guy! Definitely support this small business, they do everything right!!

Stopped here on a whim and was very impressed with the food. The mild curry had just a bit of heat and went really well with the veggie basmati rice. The naan was fresh out of the oven and fantastic. Tons of delicious food for a very reasonable place. Definitely recommend.
