I am an avid pockets fan because of the meaty calzone. That is all I get and I love it. Its huge and its hits the spot! This time around, me and my gf ordered 2 calzones since this was her first time. After waiting for more than 45 minutes(They said it would take 20), we get these tiny calzones! literally both calzones combined were smaller than the calzone I usually get when I pick up from their other locations(pictures below to compare).Also, ordered mine with grilled chicken and I saw the dude just microwave the chicken and opening the calzone with a knife to add it in. For ~$10 a calzone, they are not worth it for this size.Dont waste your money here.Get a pizza from papa johns or from the frozen isle instead.

Id give this review 4-stars if Pockets wouldnt keep raising the prices of their product. In 2011, I used to buy pockets for $5.99 which included any kind of added meat and a punch card that added up to a free pocket after 10-purchases. In 2017, this same order costs $7.99 + 1.50 for any meat and there is no incentive / punch card to keep coming back. I cant Justify paying $9.49 for a roll and some lettuce. Go to Jewel and create your own "pocket" at the salad bar and a wheat roll from the bakery- its the same quality and will run you about $4-5 total.

The food is truly healthy fast food! The calzones are not as greasy. The staff is friendly and they keep expanding their menu selection. I used to totally be addicted when I lived in Lombard. I was totally sad when they closed. Moved to the city and this one was open with the same charm but they added pizza! And frozen yogurt. We love it! Something for the vegetarian in me, my meat eating husband and my picky son. Why the four starts? Ordering online can be a hassle as you may have the order in twice.

Been wanting to try their calzones here after hearing it from my husband on his visit in Chicago. This time I tag along with him and checked this place out myself. Tried the BBC calzone and I could clearly taste the bacon and mozzarella in it! It was so delicious! The next day we both tried the buffalo chicken and again, it was really good. The service for this one is good which is nice thing for a fast food joint. I didnt even know it was a fast food restaurant until I was told it was.

Aside from the tasty pockets they have, I also love the calzones especially the BBQ chicken calzone. Gotta love the taste that sips in your mouth and leaves a lingering flavor. The BBC calzone (bacon,broccoli, cheddar) is also a must try. I always end up feeling satisfied after every meal I had here. Really worth it every penny. I would definitely recommend this place especially to new visitors.

Arrived to this place around lunch and ordered this Buffalo Pocket with Chicken. It was really good. The flavor really hits the mouth. In fact I can still remember the taste of it right now. The price was just about right and I couldnt be more satisfied than that. Would definitely come back here again to try the other "pockets" they have on the menu.

They are incredibly slow here. The people are nice and depending how busy they are theyve been known to have a ever expanding delivery area. Its expensive for what it is but the calzones are good and the salads are large enough to share or have a second meal from. A little less likely to order from here as the North Ave location is now gone.

Great pockets that are really satisfying. I am always left satisfied when I eat my lunch here. The price is great and the place is nice as well. My favorite is the Southwest pocket. The ingredients itself is a great mix and really delicious.
