One of, if not the best coffee shop in downtown Tampa and possibly the entire county! Great interior space with vibrant natural light entering the open spaces, high ceilings and a large open area great you. This place is welcoming and begs you to hang out for several cups of coffee and relax, be social or more productive and get some work done. There are plenty of electrical outlets/USB ports to charge your mobile device if juice is running a bit low. The copper wall floor to ceiling waterfall adds superbly to the overall ambiance and experience. There is also a very well decorated and spaced patio seating area toward the back of the building with a covered and open area. You will find bench and table top seating. The ambience they have created is hands down award winning. My new favorite place to hang. O almost forgot, the coffee, very tasty and clean. If you are also in the mood for some pastries they have a simple selection of muffins and sweetbreads.

We had a great experience here. My partner and I arrived on New Years day to grab some coffee on our way home to Gainesville. I got a large black drip and she got a latte. We split a guava cheese pastry. The coffee was fresh, robust and flavorful just like the pastry. The atmosphere is something you would find in Los Angeles or New York. Its very stark industrial modern. The same feel carries out to the patio, but the patio space is softened by a water feature and some well cared for vegetation. The atmosphere and quality really brought us back home to L.A. Now, no Tampa trip will be complete without a visit to Foundation Coffee Co.

There is plenty of room inside to study (PLENTY OF TABLES, SEATS, AND SOCKETS). My custom order of a MOCHA MACCHIATO was creamy and sweet- not with bitter, dark Chocolate which I’m more used to and actually prefer- but the order was still well done. Meanwhile, their NITRO HAD A SLIGHTLY BITTER TASTE to it which isn’t preferred but it was overall still good. There’s a small selection of HOMEMADE PASTRIES UP FRONT; MORE THAN HALF WERE GLUTEN-FREE! I wish there more non-GF pastries since GF pastries tend to have a left-out, dense texture.

I love coffee shops so I had to check this place out. FANTASTIC coffee but no real food to snack on besides some pastry / dessert options. Personally I always like to have something to eat when drinking coffee. Definitely a modern boutique coffeehouse in the truest sense. Well designed. Large metal rusted water fountains, great patio, and quiet. Great place to hang out, chat, have a meeting, relax, or just sip coffee and read!

LOVE the multiple fountains and comfortable furniture inside and out. That on top of the delicious Nitro Ethiopian coffee I got made it a wonderful, relaxing visit. I subtracted one star for poor parking and would have enjoyed a couple non-baked food options but the cafe itself was great and Id definitely recommend it. A great, off the beaten path, find!

Foundation Coffee is one of the coolest coffee shops in Tampa Bay and part of a growing local coffee scene. The decor inside is amazing - especially the enclosed patio in the back. The coffee tastes great. Prices are fair. Lots of space - but it does get quite busy and may be hard to find a seat sometimes.

Just as good as the location in Riverview. Always a relaxed atmosphere, with a great feeling of community. The owners have seriously outdone themselves in this location with the decor. Not to mention, theyve added a selection of merchandise thatll make a lot of people happy.

Found this location thru Instagram... And WOW!!!! The Vanilla Latte was AMAZING!!! I actually preferred this one over Starbucks!!! If ever in Tampa you must come check this location out. The building is so historical and quaint. Ill definitely recommend to others!

This is Tampas best coffee house, an excellent, stylish third-wave cafe with lots of comfy indoor & outdoor seating. They pour consistently great espresso & cold brew (w/ and w/o nitro), and make the tastiest damned waffles this side of Belgium.

Very cool and trendy spot. We had the chai latte, cold brew and gluten free pineapple coconut carrot cake. The cake was to die for but the chai latte was just ok. Great outdoor seating though, Ill be back for the quiet and calm atmosphere.

Coffee was great, but the coffee cake, pound cake, and banana bread were burnt. Not sure if this is a common theme, but I was a little disappointed. All in all, a great place to chill and maybe get some work done in the process.

Open relaxing environment. Youre not breathing sharif elbow space with the table next to you. Patio is open too. Very nice space. Modern look. I got the berry citrus herbal tea over ice with sweetener. Good taste.

Curried chicken salad sandwich was delicious; it would be perfect without the raisins. Great atmosphere. Good coffee, but Ive had better. Reasonable prices. Good staff. Id personally rate it 4.5/5.

Cool patio, mostly college age kids nursing hangovers or doing homework. Counter help woman was very nice and poured a good cup of Ethiopian, but it cooled to tepid before I even got to a seat.

Their drip coffee is made to perfection! They offer different blends but the composition is not what you would ideally expect outside.
