Ordered food on 1/1/16. We ordered dumplings,rice, and sweet/sour chicken. It took 45 minutes to get to the door. The food was mediocre and the dumplings were subpar. Overall tasted ok. However, 3/4 of us got sick that night. Nausea and vomiting. I wouldnt recommend the place not only for the mediocre food, but for their sanitary conditions and pricing. You order rice and receive dry and generic rice. The spring rolls were soft on one side and crunchy on the other.The pork-fu-yung we received was burnt. Overall, the experience was less than okay and I would defiantly recommend other places. Plenty of better options-but not here!

Just went back to show them the questionable bug my 6 yr. old son found in his food...of course this led to an argument because the real question was whether or not I planted the bug myself. I have lived in this area for years and have never been a big fan of China Gate because the food simply is not that great, and tonight will definitely be the last time I ever give them my money.

Very dirty. Went to use the restroom. Graffiti all over it. And very filthy. Made me wonder what their kitchen would be like. If they cannot clean the restroom. Do you think they would clean the kitchen? Food is not good. But most of all the place looks filthy. Would not recommend. they need a Board of Health inspection...

I encourage anyone who is considering eating here to drive around the building first. If the pervasive filth doesnt convince you to eat elsewhere, maybe the stench pouring from the dumpster will. If this is any indication of the level of sanitation inside their kitchen you would be better off eating elsewhere.

Have eaten here several times and the food is amazing. Tried something new today for lunch and was pleased with it as well and the portion was HUGE. By far the best Chinese I have eaten. The staff is friendly, food is amazing, large portions, what more could you ask for ☆☆☆☆☆

They fried a bug in my food. When I went to complain the guy laughed at me. I will never eat there again. To have a fried bug in your chicken is absolutely DISGUSTING! This place needs to be shut down!

Food was too salty. I ordered a dish with garlic sauce and it was brown. I think they use the same dirty wok. Worst part was how expensive it was. 2 people, 2 meals, $31..... never again.
